I love Dad Bod books! They are realistic and funny while being sexy too!! The women all have their own issues about themselves and being in a relationship. Everyone has baggage in real Life and so do these ladies. I love that this character has a little boy and tries to be a good mom. Jasinda Wilder is awesome in keeping you wanting to turn the page to see what happens next. Also the bonding of the women in the group is so like my own group of friends .

Every time I read one of these stories I think Jasinda topped herself, then I read a new story and I find out how wrong I really am. We find out that in this one, Ryder and Laurel are made for each other, but man do they have a road ahead for them to make it. When Ryder ghosts Laurel after a wonderful night, she has to find out why he would do something like that. Yes, it scared the crap out of her too. But jeez, grow up and man up on what really happened. So she hunts him down at the local bar to get his side of the story. Ryder freaks out when he and Laurel have the perfect night. He has already been down that road and is against anything the resembles a relationship again. So when he gets those feelings again he runs. Little did he know that Laurel would hunt him down to get answers he wasn't ready to answer. Again what a great story.

Jasinda Wilder is easily one of my favorite authors out there and I can't get enough of her books! Badd Brothers and Dad Bod Contracting series are without a doubt my favorite books by her. And with Nailed, I'm sure it tops as my favorite in this series! Ryder and Laurel are the absolute sweetest together. I really enjoyed the way their story went and they were just perfect for each other. I appreciated the way that Jasinda decided to pace their relationship, it's not exactly an insta-love kind of story. But their attraction towards was intense from the very beginning, but that was enough for them to hold back on not trying to pursue it more. Well, it was coming more from Ryder's end than Laurel's. I can't say that I fault a guy for his hesitancy especially with what he dealt with, with his ex-wife. And can I just say that I love stories where kids are a part of it especially if they're written in so well?! Laurel has the absolute best nine-year old that I've come across in a story, and he's the cutest and you'll fall in love with Nate. Laurel has a painful past as well dealing with her crazy ex-husband. And she'll forever be tied to that man because of their son. But her life spiraled and she did everything she could to get back to place where she was truly in love and happy with herself. And she's ready to welcome someone in, and that's Ryder. I admired Laurel's tenacity to know more about Ryder and his reasons for essentially ghosting her. And that was probably one of the best things that could have happened for their relationship because it pushed Ryder to finally open up to her. And that's when they realized that they have more in common than their chemistry. Ryder knows how to treat a woman and it boggles my mind why his ex took that for granted. I can't get enough of how was with Laurel, he treated her like every woman should be treated. Seriously...I can't get enough of Ryder and Laurel! I loved everything about this book, seeing the love and appreciation grow between these two, the awesome-ness that is the Laurel aka the Mama Warrior, and the best #squadgoals anyone could ask for. Dad Bod Contracting is another series that I'll never want to say goodbye to, so thank goodness we don't have to, yet. **I VOLUNTARILY REVIEWED FOR AN HONEST REVIEW**

5 STAR Review by Jodi for Ruby Red Romance Review I can't with this story. I'm so in lust with Ryder and Laurel. I loved every second of this witty, sweet, sexy book. Both of these characters have had it rough. Their past have left them not wanting to open up their hearts to old wounds. I loved watching to fall for these two. I know they had a rough start, but it was good to see them give it another chance. I loved getting to know them through the others eyes. I loved watching Ryder and Nate. I loved watch Ryder stand up for Laurel. Most of all, I loved the fall. These two were made for each other. I can't wait to see what's to come for Nova. Please check out this awesome book!

Nailed by Jasinda Wilder is book three in her Dad Bod Contracting series. The previous books are Hammered and Drilled. 4 men, best friends and co-worker . And 4 women, best friends and determined to find their HEA. Nailed tells the story of Laurel and Ryder. Both are in the center of their circle and their chemistry is through the roof high, but both are burned by past relationships. Laurel is the peacemaker, a single mom whom's first priority is her son. She's successful in her job, started fresh, but the baggage from her past follows her. Ryder is part of the Dad Bod Contracting crew and avoids relationships at all costs. But he's smitten with Laurel. What to do? In Nailed you'll not only meet Laurel and Ryder, the whole crew, aka Audra, Franco, Imogen and Jessie shows up. I greatly enjoyed meeting characters from previous books. I liked the age of the characters, they're in their thirties - fourties, mature and know what they want. The writing is excellent and I loved the story and connected with the characters very easily. Nailed is, after Jessie and Imogen's story my favorite read so far. I give 4,5 stars and can't wait to get my hands on Screwed, the last book in the series.

A disfunctional relationship leaves emotional scars. This book hit me right where I used to live in marriage to a man who is bipolar. Picking up the pieces after is never easy but these two do it seamlessly and Ryder is that man every single mom dreams of finding. The one who loves your kid, who is that one to show you love still exists and that not all men come with a barrage of mental issues. Fun and full of Jasinda’s trademark steam. A witty, second chance at love journey with great friends and even greater men, plus I’m still loving the fact that these characters are all hovering around 40!

I received a free copy of this book from the author. This is book three in the Dad Bod Construction series. Each of them can be read as stand alone novels, however, I would recommend reading them all in order. Just to get the dynamics of the characters. Nailed focuses on Ryder and Laurel. Ryder and Laurel both have troubled relationship histories which makes jumping into something with each other a bit scary and comes with quite a bit of uncertainty. I enjoyed reading their love story. Both of them have had scarring relationships that left lasting scars. Laurel is a single mother and she knows that any man she introduces to her son has to be around for the long haul otherwise it's just not worth it. What I really like was Laurel's son giving her the what-for in regards to the relationships she has had with men in the past including his father. It's clear children understand more than adults think they do and can offer some insightful thoughts to some situations. What really won me over in this book is the protectiveness Ryder shows over Laurel and her son when the boy's father shows his behind. I was cheering Ryder on hoping for blood but his actions solved the issue just as well. If you're a long time Jasinda Wilder reader or just starting her books - this series is definitely one to check out. They have a bit of humor but each of the characters offers something different to their relationships. It's almost like you get a warm fuzzy with your happy ever after.

The 3rd installment of the Dad Bod series......Ryder and Laurel. I think they have been my favorite couple so far, let me just say that they are one HOT couple. I also love the relationship between the ladies in this series........Laurel, Imogen, Audra and Nova funny! Like Jasinda always does we have been teased about the upcoming story of Nova and James in book 4. The added follow-up to Imogen and Jesse's story was funny to read.

Absolutely entertaining read with plenty of hotness to warm your winter days/nights. Wonderfully written story line that will capture you and keep you enthralled right to the very end. Two divorced people have met, dated and then the guy just drops all contact, leaving Laurel confused as to what happens. Searching out Ryder, Laurel find him to find out why he did that. What they both learn is that they have had similar experiences with their ex's, both whom have suffered from the same mental illness. Ryder is a fixer, but somethings just cannot be fixed, and that was his ex. Laurel wanted to be needed, but her situation went beyond what she was able to handle. After talking, they decide to give themselves a second chance with each other, which leads to getting to know each other more and finding that they are most definitely what they want and need. Enter Laurel's son who is just as sweet as he can be and cares about his mom's happiness. He's not happy with going to his dad's house because his dad, although he may love his son, does not do anything with him. Seeing Laurel as she is now, he tries to get her back. In his defected mind, she is still his and if she looked the way she does not, he wouldn't have let her leave. His mentality, not hers. The characters are exceptionally well written, including the supporting characters in this story. Laurel is beautiful and has worked hard to get herself back into shape, both physically and in confidence, but she is lonely and wants what everyone else has, someone to love her and walk though life with. Ryder is handsome, sweet and cautious. His past has made him this way, but when he first sees Laurel, all bets are off, she's captured his heart. Laurel's girlfriends are so entertaining that heed this not drink anything while reading the dialog between these friends or you will find yourself spewing that liquid from your mouth. Especially Audra...that woman will have you laughing out choke warning in advance! The woman has no filter! Funny, sweet, entertaining and heat inducing, this read is definitely a one-click pick! I highly recommend this book...this series! I can't wait for the next and last book of this series!

Ms. Wilder has nailed another great storyline in the Dad Bod Construction series. The storyline and the characters are both steller. Kudos for a job well done. This is Ryder and Laurel’s story. These two are both dealing with emotions from their their first marriages. Both suffered a lot of emotional situations to the point neither trust easily and are both are very leery of connecting with others of an intimate level. But something draws these two towards one another and eventually taking the first step by going on a date. Their attraction grows and trust me they are one HOT Couple when they get together. But outside forces are still at play. Can Ryder and Laurel get past their past internal struggles? What about the forces that don’t want them move on? This is a very well written fun, sassy, romance that will have you laughing at every turn; from the crazies in Laurel’s girlfriend group to Laurel’s 9 year old son and Ryder’s sharp wits. Trust me when I say Nailed will have you grinning to down right laughing out loud as Laurel and Ryder muddle their way through trying to starting over. I highly recommend this 5 star read, which is book 3 in a 5 star series. 2 Thumbs Up!!!

Drama-filled, sexy romance… I couldn’t wait to dive into another Dad Bod Contracting read! The ladies in this series are full on sister bonding with a healthy dose of sarcasm on the side. They are friends who bond over cool drinks and lusty conversations of boys, life and desire. In other words, they are a hoot and a half! Thank goodness the men in their lives are up to the challenge of harnessing all that energy for good… What do you get when you mix a single mom, a seriously adorable boy child and a ghosting man who arrives suddenly to the rescue? We get the seriously hot and rocky romance that is Ryder and Laurel’s story. Together they spark all the wires even as they struggle to find the same page… Laurel was everything as she balanced her mom life, with a son she adored, with her un-mom-like need for a man who had to be temporary. She wasn’t looking for a dad for her son, more like a ‘who’s your daddy?’ for herself… Ryder was going to show her everything he could be for her and Nate. A read in one sitting kind of story, the only way to make it better would be to have Nova’s story to start right away... *Reviewed for Nerdy Dirty & Flirty

3.5 stars I'm loving these older heroes that Jasinda Wilder is writing in this series! Ryder was hot and sweet and loving. The conversations Ryder and Laurel had were a bit on the deep side, and that kind of threw me. But overall, I enjoyed watching the whirlwind relationship form.

The 3rd installment of the Dad Bod series follows the story of Ryder and Laurel. I think they have been my favorite couple so far. They fought their attraction at first, but they didn't waste too much time figuring things out. Let me just say that they are one HOT couple. I also love the relationship between the ladies of the series...Laurel, Imogen, Audra and Nova. They are pure friendship goals! We have been teased about the upcoming story of Nova and James in book 4, and I hope we don't have to wait very long to enjoy their story. I know it will be a good one. The added follow-up/surprise to Imogen and Jesse's story was super fabulous as well. Love the guys and girls of Dad Bod Contracting!

There's something so wickedly addictive about this series that from the moment I finish one, I start counting the days and weeks until I've got the next one sitting prettily in my greedy hands, ready for me to devour it in a couple or so hours. Would it be bad form for me to confess that Ryder and Laurel's story could be my favorite in the series (so far)? These two had IT, and by IT I mean that chemistry that I demand from the main characters that I read about. Without that, it becomes difficult for me to become invested, and believe you me, I was very invested here. From the friendships that Ryder and Laurel fostered with their respective close-knit circle of friends to how they were with each other as their relationship developed and moved forward, this really became a book about love and family. After all, what these guys had with the people closest with them was exactly that--a family and there was a whole lot of love (and teasing) to go around. My favorite thing, however, was Ryder's unconditional love for Nate. That was the cherry on top of a heartwarming AND hot read. Nailed gets five stars and I need Screwed ASAP!

Jasinda, I love your books, especially the Badd boys series. I have not read this book because I am SO disappointed in the cover picture! Your "contractor" doesn't even know how to hold a hammer! Complain to your publisher!
