I got this book for my son because we call his great-grandmother NANA and because we lost his great-grandfather this past January. It really touched on different generations in family. And the death of those generations. I recommend this book to anyone who has delt or will be dealing with this situation. It helps explain grief.

This little boy really loved his g-mothers. The death one is very gently told and normalized.

This is kinda of sad, but for some reason I remember this book plain as day. It was one of my favorites.

This book is one of the best that I have ever read. I loved it as a child and now I read it to my son who recently lost his great-grandmother. Highly recommended!!!!

This book has helped for generations in my family. I am now buying more copies to share with my friends children. It is especially helpful with the loss of a grandparent. I still get emotional as I read it to my children.

A wonderful book!!! I read this book as a child and now share it with my daughter. A great way to help your child cope with the loss of a loved one.

It touched my heart, because it was kinda sad. I liked it, but I almost cried when my teacher read it to my class. My favorite part was when the Nana upstairs was tied to the chair (so she would not fall out) and the boy wanted to be tied to his chair too. The drawings were nice, especially for my favorite part. The pictures made me laugh, though some were kind of sad.
