This account is based on actual facts and events that are still unresolved today. The main character, Nathan, moves from a small town in northeastern Oklahoma known as Tahlequah. He moves to nearby Paw-Nee, just north of nearby Oklahoma City. There, he is to be employed as a finish carpenter near his high school friends estate. However, plans dont work the way he anticipated. He is almost assassinated before he gets there. While in a state of recovery, he must attend to his family in Garden Grove, California. He leaves Oklahoma to attend to his family in Garden Grove and does so with a great conflict in his heart. In California, he encounters an unknown Indian tribe and a troubling love interest.

About the Author

The author, Josiah Kingf isher-Wilson, was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He is full-blooded Cherokee. His family moved west soon after his birth. He lived briefly in New Mexico but grew up in California. He attended the University of California. He finalized his formal education with his PhD. He served in Vietnam and is now a disabled veteran and is registered by the VA with a rating of over 100 percent. In his later years, he became a known Pow-Wow dancer.
