This field guide has everything important to me; extensive coverage, good photos of each species, good range maps, well formated keyed accompanying text, and very durable binding

Well, wonder no longer. This book is an excellent resource for identifying snakes, frogs, salamanders, etc. Buy this for yourself or for your children. The full color plates make the identification process easy, and the descriptions of the animals' habitats are excellent.
