This is a bit of a departure from her normal books. It is just as funny and engaging, but it is written in the first person, and it is the first book in a to be continued series. I am not really fond of cliffhanger, but I loved this book, so I am eagerly awaiting the next edition. The world building is fantastic, and the characters are engaging. Frankie is drug into the world of the supernatural when she is killed one night while taking a break at work. Unhappy about her change of circumstances but seeing life..or in this case unlife happens...she puts on her big girl panties and with sarcastic sass, starts investgating the death of street people killed by the rogue that attacked her. I was expecting this story to be a paranormal romance like most of her other books, but it fell more into the urban fantasy venue. (Don't get me wrong, it does have a romance in it, but it is much more plot driven than most romances.) I read the book straight through, and couldn't put it down. I recommend it highly, and hope to see many more in this series.

Freaking loved this, I pray there is more!! Only one thing confused me, at one point their angry with her and call her Georgette or something, her name is Frankie short for Francesca(I believe, they only said it once so...).
