4.5 Star Needing Him (Bishop Brothers #2) by Kennedy Fox Kennedy Fox is a new author to me and I have no idea why that is. I really enjoyed Needing Him and although book 2 in the series I had no issues in reading. Although I will be off to get book one as soon as I finish this review. Evan Bishop went against the grain and decided to become a doctor, instead of working on the family ranch,. He has certainly played the field and being in an exclusive relationship has never been a priority. When the opportunity for a wild night of fun and passion with a woman he will never see again drops into his lap he decides go for it. Imagine his shock when the woman in question, Dr Emily Bell, turns out to be his newest co-worker. Emily is beyond horrified, as the last thing she wanted was her new job to be complicated from the start. The chemistry between Evan and Emily is so scorching that you can almost feel the flames, even while their antagonism towards each other fuels the flames until something has to give. Emily is one feisty, smart woman determined to give as good as she gets; I really liked her. When Emily’s past comes back to haunt her and she is put in danger, Evan goes all protective and I loved that about him. In fact there really is nothing I didn’t love about Evan in the end. The banter and camaraderie between Evan and his family was hilarious at times and led to several laugh out loud moments. Although Evan does appear initially to be a tad obnoxious, underneath it all is the heart of a man who cares deeply for his patients and his family, a who is a true romantic. Who would have thought it? The secondary characters were as entertaining as the main and I am anxious to read their stories.

Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author...We have the second installment of the Bishop brothers, Lordy, Lordy, everytime I read about one of these hot cowboys, I want to go to Texas, in away though I am glad this is fiction because I would be in trouble. Evan though has almost everything you could want, he is gorgeous, alpha hot doctor, again Lordy. We meet Emily who catches her disgusting boyfriend cheating on her but she doesn't just take it she humiliates him and his cohort by taking their clothes giving them no option but announce to the hospital that they were doing the nasty by having to leave the on-call room naked..(loved that part). She relocates to start fresh but does not begin on good footing with Evan when she also steals his clothes after a night of pleasure but there was a misunderstanding..Anyhoo this was fun and can't wait for next installment please..Enjoy!

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This is my first book by this author and just wow I was blown away. It is book 2 in a series but easily stands alone. I love it so much I want to read more from the author. This book stars Emily and Evan and this story is essentially a boss/employee romance with them both being doctors at the hospital. Evan is in charge and Emily is a new ER doctor and she has to train with Evan. They meet after a one night stand where Emily stole his tux and so at first there is a little bit of hate too This was a very fun story with lots of family and friends who I fell in love with. I really enjoyed both E and E and I cannot wait for more from this author.

The Kennedy Fox duo continues their Bishop Brothers series with the story of the brooding older brother Evan and the big city girl who came to work in the same hospital as him. Evan isn’t just an attractive southern gentleman he’s a kick@$$ doctor who’s is married to his job, and it’s the only relationship he’s interested in. Except for his family he keeps everyone at bay, but when he sees a beautiful mysterious woman at his brother’s wedding he decides to throw caution to the wind. After that night he’ll never see her again, right? When Dr. Emily Bell arrived in town all she wanted was a clean slate and prove herself. To that end she resolved to concentrate on work and not date coworkers to avoid getting used and hurt, but the weekend before she starts her new job she gives into temptation for one night with a gorgeous southerner she meets at a wedding. How much harm can one night cause when she didn’t give him her real name and she can’t even remember his? They’ll find out when the go to work! Evan and Emily are as stubborn as they are smart and antagonize each other relentlessly stoking the spark and passion growing between them until it combusts. The novel not only sizzles with the romance between this two but also flares with the tension surrounding Emily’s past that’s come to plague her. Despite his initial douche canoe attitude, Evan slowly shows his soft underbelly, demonstrating he doesn’t just care about his patients and loves his family, but is also a closet romantic making him a wonderfully swoony book boyfriend. And speaking of family, all the Bishops are back in their caring, meddling and hilarious ways. The narrative describing not only the small town charm but also the action drama and action packed hospital scenes leap keenly off the page, so much so that you can almost smell the sanitizer and feel the healthcare providers’ adrenaline when a patient rolls in practically ripped right out of Grey’s Anatomy or ER episode. Needing Him is full of hooking elements. Wit, strong protagonists and secondary characters, steamy love scenes, lovely family values with a dash of drama and suspense. A definite must read page turner. It is book #2 of the Bishop Brothers series under the Kennedy Fox penname. It is standalone southern contemporary romance told by both points of view with a happy ending and a prelude into the next book.

Readers better be ready for resident hard ass, Dr. Evan Bishop, because not only is he one hell of an ER doctor, but he’s also an alpha male to his core, which means that even though Dr. Emily Bell pushes his buttons and pisses him off, he’s unwilling to give up control or be undermined by the woman who was supposed to be a one-night stand but now seems to always be around, defying him and daring him to give into the undeniable attraction and the chemistry between them because it’s more than obvious that one night is not going to satisfy either of them, regardless of how much they piss each other off and how many mixed signals Evan seems to deliver. Evan Bishop may be one confusing and broody bastard, but he’s also an amazing doctor, rancher, and sibling, even if his brothers may deny that fact. Evan may have earned the Mr. Undateable nickname, but now that he’s had a taste of Dr. Emily Bell, he can’t seem to walkaway no matter how much effort he puts into battling his desires. And, even though he’s a total prick to Emily at the beginning, once his stubbornness allows Emily a chance to explain, there’s no stopping him from claiming her once and for all, no matter what obstacles stand in their way. Emily Bell may come from a long line of prestigious doctors, but she hasn’t relied on her last name to advance her career; she’s worked her ass off and proven herself a fantastic doctor in her own right, and it’s her strength and intelligence that allows her to go head-to-head with a man who refuses to make things easy on her no matter how much he wants her and she wants him. There’s definitely a battle of wills when Evan and Emily are in the same ER room or any room for that matter, but what’s also abundantly clear is that the sexual tension that surrounds them is far too overwhelming not to give into, so the fact that these two go from screaming at one another to tearing each other’s clothes off makes a whole lot of sense, even if it frustrates the hell out of them both. When the Bishop brood is together, there’s never a dull moment, whether it be the Bishop brothers meddling ways, knowing just how to wind one another up, or Mama Bishop putting them in their place, this family is always entertaining and they’re bonded in a way that illustrates just how close they are and what they’re willing to do to have one another’s backs at all cost. Needing Him is definitely a steamy read, but it also has suspenseful, dramatic, and hilarious scenes that make it one hell of an entertaining read. Bring on the next Bishop brother book!! 4.5 Poison Apples

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review My Rating: 5 Stars I did not think that I could like a Bishop brother more than I liked Alex, but it has happened folks. It has happened in a BIG WAY. I didn’t know that I needed a dirty talking, broody Doctor in my life until I read Needing Him. So thanks for that Kennedy Fox, I need to rethink all of my life choices now. At the end of Taming Him, we found out that Evan had a one night stand with a woman who ended up being his co-worker. That little sneak peek at Needing Him had me dying to meet Evan and Emily and they did not disappoint. Their chemistry jumped off of the page immediately, sucking me in and making me want more of them. I am such a sucker for hate to love romance, but only when its done right. There are honestly so many ways that the trope can go wrong: the characters can give in too soon, turning it into insta-love, or they can hate each other too much, making it less believable when the finally give in. Fortunately, Emily and Evan seemed to genuinely hate each other while simultaneously wanting to rip one another’s clothes off. Their relationship developed naturally and I really enjoyed watching it change. The suspense Kennedy Fox added really kept me nervous throughout the book. I found myself constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop, and drop it did! The last 20% of the book was fast paced, and I don’t think I could’ve stopped reading for anything. In fact, I stayed up until 4am reading on a damn school night. Yes, I did skip class in the morning, and I completely blame it on Kennedy Fox and Evan. The end of Needing Him gave us a preview of Chasing Him and I can honestly say that I’m dying to get my hands on the next book! Talk about a cliffhanger, folks. If you ladies need a beta reader, I AM SO ON BOARD. My Takeaway: I NEED MORE EVAN! Emily and Evan’s story was fantastic. The two of them had off the charts chemistry that kept me coming back for more. I genuinely think I could read three more books about the two of them together. With each book in this series, I fall more in love with the Bishop family.

MY OH MY Dr. Evan Bishop is in, and I am not ashamed to say that I would totally fake being sick just to have him give me a check up! Emily and Evan's chemistry was crazy hot. My fingers burned with each page turning. I couldn't get enough of their banter. Evan is definitely a hard ass, but Emily knows how to dish it out just as much as him. They were hilarious, sweet, and wild all in one. I was so excited from the first page until the end, my enthusiasm didn't change. This book IS JUST THAT GOOD! Both characters are so loveable, and their relationship is seriously #goals. I loved Emily and Evan so much I read my arc about 4 times within the last week. It was everything and MORE. Kennedy Fox gets me every single time, each book is always better than the next. Leaving me an emotional happy mess. I recommend this book sooooo hard.

Yuuuummm!! Kennedy Fox’s newest release is all kinds of yummy. I absolutely loved this book! Needing Him is a prime example of why I looove enemies to lovers. The fiery tension. The constant pushing of buttons. The back and forth. Then the explosive coming together when it all becomes too much! That is Evan and Emily’s relationship and I could not get enough. Needing Him is my favorite book by Kennedy Fox so far. It gave me all the good feelings from the beginning to the very end. Also, how do you not fall in love with the family feels and the small town charm that we get in a Kennedy Fox book?! The closeness between the Bishops is everything. I enjoyed all the family banter and ribbing. It warms my heart to know that even with all the joking and teasing, if one of them truly needs the others, every member is quick to help. This book just makes you feel good. The dynamic duo of Kennedy Fox have once again written characters that are easy to root for and easy to love. Emily is smart, sassy and determined. I love that she's willing to fight for something especially when she knows she's right. Even if that goes against her boss, who just happened to be Evan. *Sigh Evan. *insert heart eyes emoji here* While I was reading the previous book in the series,Taming Him, I knew there was something more to the serious and stoic oldest Bishop boy. I was SO right. It is a possiblity that Dr. Evan Bishop has taken the title of my favorite Kennedy Fox hero away from Logan Knight. I love me a sexy, successful, possessive, gruff dreamboat with a sweet romantic side. When these two get together, stand clear because they're fire. The more they butt heads the more explosive their connection gets. In addition to the hotness, Kennedy Fox also gave us an element of suspense that had my emotions all over the place. Different from the previous book, this touch just elevated the book to another level. The lovely ladies of Kennedy Fox sure do know how to keep you coming back for more. That epilogue... all I can say is: I CANNOT wait to have John's story!! I can honestly say this book was everything I wanted. I recommend picking it up.

Kennedy Fox is an amazing duo that has out done themselves with this book. I could not put this book down because Evan and Emily have such chemistry that it was basically coming off the pages. Evan is a conformed bachelor that is married to his job as a doctor. Even though his is this so called bachelor his is a hot, dominate, alpha, cowboy/doctor with true southern manners. Emily is trying to start over and build a name for herself. She is a strong, independent women that is also married to her job at the hospital. What happens after one night stand with the most dominate man she has meet? Evan and Emily many have not started off on the right foot but they most certainly now how to make up for that. With Evan being one of the Bishop boys I knew this book was going to be hot and was definitely not disappointed. This book also had a really got plot/story line that kept me on the edge of my seat because I truly never saw the twists coming. There were also many laugh out loud moments, that I really enjoyed because it really lighted up the deep story line/twists. I cannot wait to read John's story and also find out more about all of the Bishops. **I had the honor of reading an ARC of this amazing book**

I love the Bishop clan. Evan Bishop broke the convention and became a doctor, much to his father’s chagrin, though on his off days he works at the ranch. He is very dedicated to his job but also closed off emotionally. At his brother Alex’s wedding, he hooks-up with a woman but finds himself alone the next morning. Emily Bell needs a fresh start after her boyfriend cheats on her and they worked at the same hospital. When she walks in on the first day and finds her one-stand will be her supervisor, well, being shocked is an understatement. These two strong-willed, driven individuals are a perfect match, but can they overcome past hurts and open themselves up to love. It was a fun ride to find out what would happen between these two. At the same time, the entire Bishop family is involved adding so much depth to this series. I loved that we learned more about Keira and can see Jackson being jealous. So excited for the next brother’s story.

“Dr. Evan Bishop, ready for this one?” A little Grey’s Anatomy meets suspense and romance like you’ve never encountered! The Bishop family is back in Needing Him by Kennedy Fox. The broody, possessive, workaholic Doctor Evan Bishop finally is shown what it’s like to go toe to toe with a feisty little female. “Wait, did you just dare me?” Needing Him will grab you with the push and pull magnitude and the combustible lust that flows between Evan and Emily. I really enjoyed the chemistry between them. Perfect, however, multiple times I wanted to hate Evan for how he treated Emily. He was a total douche, a$$, you name it, but once he found out the truth behind her antics his walls lowered, showing his caring, alpha-sexy side. Two doctors, one rural town and a family that knows a thing or two about drama… what could go wrong?! Dr. Emily Bell was a hoot and half. She had me cracking up multiple times with her antics, especially against her ex-boyfriend. Moving to a new town, especially from a big city to a country town threw Emily for a loop until a splendous one night stand leads to drama and issues for herself personally and professionally. Dr. Evan Bishop doesn’t do relationships or fun. He is dedicated to his patients and what little time he has, he spends it with his family on the ranch. Waking up after a night of passion leaves him furious, until his so called woman shows up at the hospital, expected to work with him. Let the good times roll… they say. “Goddamn, this woman just might be my undoing.” You will fly through this book in a matter of hours with a swooning feeling in the end. Captivating writing that flowed freely between chapters and a storyline that was built with entertaining, palpable passion. I am interested to see what Bishop brother is next in the series as all his brothers are beyond sexy and riveting! 4 Stars *Review by Allyson, Late Night reviewer for Up All Night w/Books Blog*

Wow if you liked Taming him then you will love Needing him. This book is just more! It is more intense, more dramatic, suspenseful, and has a darker twist to it. A sublime piece of fictional romance that any Kennedy Fox fan can dive into, become hooked and will be salivating to the very last page. Needing Him follows the story of the more serious Bishop brother, Dr Evan Bishop. Turning away from the family ranch to pursue a career in medicine, Evan saw this as a calling in life not just a job. A avid workaholic Evan's life begins and ends with the ER in the hospital. On his downtime he helps out on the family ranch, being the eldest of the siblings he could not completely abandon the family business. There is no chilling out or messing around, for Evan it is all work, work, work. This is where Evan's intensity I think stems from, he just has to tight a reign on his life, needs to be in control of everything and when that control is taken away he ends up in a tail spin. There are rare moments when Evan lets loose, and just one of these moments occurs at his younger brothers wedding. For just one night Evan let's go, unfortunately for Evan there are consequences to his actions, albeit for the readers this is just hilarious. There are moments in this book that will have you dying with laughter, heart pumping from the angst and adrenaline, along with moments that give you the warm and fuzzy, all in all an excellent read and the perfect continuation to the Bishop Brothers series.

Another hit from Kennedy Fox! I think Evan took over for Alex as my favorite Bishop brother so far. I'm giving this 5 out of 5 stars. This review is for an ARC, and reflects my honest opinion. I absolutely loved the first book in this series, so you know I had to request this one. I'm so glad I did! Evan was amazing. I mean a sexy doctor who's also a cowboy? Yes please! And I really liked Emily as well. I thought she was easy to relate to. And you know I love the Bishop family, and seeing more of them is always entertaining. I also liked seeing Kiera, and Emily's family. The chemistry between Evan and Emily was phenomenal, and I also loved that we got to see them at work since medicine is such a big part of both of their lives. It was like an episode of Grey's Anatomy sometimes...especially with the hot on-call room action. Their courtship while definitely unconventional was remarkable. So much packed into so little time. There were just a couple things that felt a little off, or not as fleshed out as they could have been. For example, this was supposed to be an enemies to lovers book, but I didn't really get the enemies part. Yeah, there was some tension and rivalry, but I was expecting something bigger for them to be considered enemies. I had an idea/twist in my brain, but it never happened. Also, since I've read other Kennedy Fox books, the story line was a little predictable. But maybe that's just me? Regardless of those things, this book was a delight to read. I read 2/3 of it in one day, and left the last 1/3 for the next day. I could have easily devoured the entire book in one sitting though. I can't wait to read the next book in a couple months!
