GOLD, SILVER AND LEAD
A plot to rob the train carrying a fortune in silver and gold bullion from the Virginia City mines to the San Francisco Mint brought Spur McCoy to Nevada. His assignment: to prevent the robbery and bring in the conspirators, dead or alive. But Rush Sommers, the mastermind behind the scheme, had a mission of his own—to eliminate McCoy—and he’d hired a gang of hard cases with Spur’s name on every bullet.
In spite of the luscious distractions offered by the town’s lovely ladies, Spur would have to be quick on the trigger and fast on his feet, or he’d be trading the shipment of silver and gold for a belly full of hot lead.
