I cannot tell you how excited I was to hear that these two were collaborating on a book together. Combining Tarryn’s twisted mind with Colleen’s amazing ability to tear your heart to shreds was pure genius. I was not disappointed at all! Told from alternating POV’s between Silas and Charlie, the reader is faced with more questions on every page. Mainly what in the HELL is happening?!?! Just enough answers are given to make you tear through this book as if your life depends on it. I honestly could not tell which author was writing which parts but I truly felt like the story was a true and perfect mix of each of their styles. Yes, it is not long enough by any means. Yes, it ends on a cliffhanger. But yes, there will be more and it is sure to be amazing! I personally have a love hate relationship with cliffhangers, but if the authors leave you screaming for more, then they have done their job right! I simply cannot wait to get my hands on part 2! 5 Stars and a bottle of whiskey (you‘ll need it)! Enjoy!

I was so excited to read this because I love all things Colleen Hoover. However, I can't tell you how disappointed I was! The story was good in the first book, and even in the second, but the third book was the WORST! I can't believe how many things went unanswered! Especially the THEME of the book! One can assume that it was messing with fate, but it's not really proven and then there are the questions of Charlie's mother, Shrimp, and the tarot reader??? You can't put that much into a character and then never address them again. What was the point??? And the epilogue made me want to throw my nook across the room! I definitely don't think this is her best work. I can only hope that it was the influence of Tarryn that caused so many of the books' downfalls.

So, I was out and about and forgot my book at home, so I pulled up my Nook app on my phone and randomly chose this book because I happen to love everything I've read by Colleen Hoover. I won't say I was disappointed, because I found myself immediately intrigued and couldn't stop reading! It was different than I was expecting though! I ended up not being able to go back to my other book until I had finished this one...and now that I have, I fear I'll have to read all three of them before I can get my mind into another story. That's how completely the story has gripped me. The idea of two people just randomly "waking up" and forgetting everything is very unnerving. I can't even come up with a reason why this has happened and can't wait to get to the part where we find out. I kind of like that both of them find out things about themselves that they don't really like. It makes it seem like redemption is possible and that it might be a good thing this has happened to them, so they can fix what they don't like about themselves. We end on a massive cliffhanger, so don't be like me and definitely have the next book (or both of them) handy before you start reading. The writing is amazing, in my opinion, and even though it's different than anything I've read by either author before, I'm sure fans of either author will enjoy the book and the writing.

I understand the book is short but I couldn't put it down. I was immediately drawn in with the opening chapter and the theme of the book is very captivating. I liked the lead characters and their personalities. It is a teen drama, but I'm 30 and still enjoyed it. I do agree with other readers that all 3 books could have been tuned into one regular book because they are so short. However, I enjoy the books and couldn't put them down... all 3 were worth the low cost.

It never made any sense. The chapters kept jumping between charaters so much that you never knew who was talking and the ending sucked big time. No resolutin, just a sorry cliffhanger to try and force you to buy another ultra short story for a huge amount of money. Sorry...wont be suckered into that. Either put it all into one book or not at all. Do not recommend at all.

Never Never is the first installment in co-authors Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher's mature young adult series titled: Never Never. When I finished this book, I was pissed. But after sitting on it for a few days, I think I can write a fair review. Because there's good and bad in everything right? The good: I finished the book! Something good about it kept me going. It was mysterious and intriguing to follow these characters as they tried to make some sense out of this situation and re-learn both themselves and others around them. I was supportive of the characters' slow but sure attraction to each other, despite what they gradually learned about their past behavior. The characters have potential and apparent motivation to be better than the person they were, and I liked that about them. I was genuinely curious, and very eager to get my many, many questions answered. That combined with my emotional response after finishing the book, although quite negative, at least shows that I was very much invested in the story. The bad: I was confused! The concept that the characters' situation was based on made no sense at all. (view spoiler) From the first page to the last page, I had so many questions that went unanswered...and then the stupid cliffhanger! It was unnecessary. Why publish a 140 page book that ends right in the middle of a climactic scene instead of just publishing a full-length novel that allows the reader to gain a full experience? And the next installment won't be released until May 2015??? I think Never Never should be marketed as a serial instead of a series...that would make more sense and would at least give readers a heads up to what they are getting into. Yes, I know it's the author's right to organize their work as they see fit, but I did not enjoy my experience and because I don't want a repeat, I won't be continuing the series. The end. My favorite quote: "'It's strange how money seems to silence a neighborhood,' I say quietly. 'On my street, where no one has money, it's so loud. Sirens blaring, people shouting, car doors slamming, stereos thumping. There's always someone somewhere, making noise.'...'I think I prefer the noise.'”

“I want to tell him that what he did was nice, but nice is such a silly word for kindness. Anyone could pretend to be nice. What Silas did was innate. Boldfaced kindness.” Genre: Young Adult Romance. Number of Pages: 159. Perspective: Alternating First. Location: New Orleans. Never Never follows Silas and Charlie, a teenage couple that wake up one day and can’t remember anything about their lives. As they put together the pieces they start to realize that maybe they were hiding a lot of horrible secrets, and it's better to forget. Well, I wanted quick read, and I definitely got that. I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this before, but I usually HATE series. Especially with big cliffhangers. I don’t want to have to be committed to 3+ books to get a complete story. But typically after each book in a series, you feel some sort of resolution, even though there is a larger story that continues through all of the books. Nope, not this time. This was a really amazing book and I was powering through it. Then…it ends. It's like they took a novel, sliced it in thirds, and decided to space the release of all three parts over the course of a year to drive the readers insane. It's like starting to read a novel, losing it for a year, then picking up the book to finish when you don’t really care or remember what happened anymore. If it was a novel, it was going great and I would have given the book 5 stars, but because I feel it is incomplete, I can only give it 4 stars. To read the rest of my review, go here:

Wow!! Just. Wow!!! Such a page turner!! In the first installment of Never Never, we meet Charlie & Silas. Both are suffering from some sort of amnesia--they both remember random life facts, animals, celebrities, how to drive, etc. but neither remember anything about their personal lives-each other, family, friends...nothing. Together they fumble through the days trying to figure out what in the world has happened to them...all the while realizing that there is more to the story than they can determine. Suddenly-a letter appears & Silas realize this isn't the first time for this to happen, but he can't find Charlie... MAJOR cliffhanger!!! That's the end of part 1. I absolutely loved this book. I started it Saturday evening, fell asleep at 2am and picked it right back up the next morning-not stopping reading for anything until the book was complete... Now I'm delving into part 2!! Enjoy!!

It was late in the night when I picked this book up. I was on the verge of sleep and figured I would read a few pages before I passed out. It is now very early in the morning and I am writing my review after finishing this book! I was completely taken unawares by this book and I loved it. I have read the Hopeless series by Colleen Hoover and both books 1 and 2 were 3 star reads for me and I have not read a book by Tarryn Fisher, so I really wasn't expecting to like this as much as I did. What a weird, yet compelling story. For a good part of the book, I just kept saying, "What in the f@&#??"...but in the best way possible. I wasn't confused because the authors were running the reader in circles or because of bad writing, I was as perplexed as the characters Charlie and Silas and needed to keep reading to figure out what the hell was going on. My biggest complaint? The length or should I say, shortness of this book. I suppose I should be happy, it would seem I can finally get some sleep now, but damn...just damn. Charlie and Silas are both in high school, have friends, have dated off and on again for 4 years, have parents and siblings, but the problem is, they don't remember any of it. Or who they are. Both of them are standing in class one moment and then the next, it is though their memories are wiped clean and they have no idea who or where they are. With everyone watching them with growing skepticism and unease at their unusual behavior, they only have each other to lean while they try and find out what happened to them and what they really mean to each other. As small clues start to appear and as Charlie and Silas struggle to regain their memories, there is a nagging feeling that they might not actually like the people they once were. With twists and turns at every corner, nothing is as it seems. Bravo Ms. Hoover and Ms. Fisher, bravo. I recommend this book to everyone, it may not be your usual genre, but it is one hell of a read.

Borrowed From My Daughter Now My Honest Review This book is one of a kind and it's something else. It is FANTASTIC!! Silas and Charlie wake up one day and don't know anything about  themselves, not even their names. They are confused and are trying to find out .... why and what happened? This book will keep you  captivated, intrigued, consumed, mystified, confused and stupified. You won't want to put it down until you finish reading it. But, be ready .... CLIFFHANGER .... but never never fear the sequel will be out soon. I loved this book and you will too. It would make a great gift and a great addition to your  bookshelf. It is a book you will re-read and re-read again. I suggest while reading it don't try to figure things out because you will get quite  frustrated. Just read and enjoy everything in it. I gave this book 5 stars but it deserves more than 10+ stars. I highly recommend this book  to everyone and anyone. If you enjoy romance or suspense you'll like this book. It is such a beautiful romantic book. Colleen Hoover and  Tarryn Fisher hit the ball out of the ballpark with this one. I can't wait for the next one to come out.
