Nevermind is without any doubt the greatest album ever made. 3 virtually unheard of musicians making 13 sublime tracks. From the opening riff to the chartbusting song Smells Like Teen Spirit through to the sad acoustic Polly and finishin with an angry, volatile Kurt destroying guitars in the hidden track Endless Nameless. This album is a must for everyone who likes rock music. The first time you listen to this album you will be hooked. Happy listening. R.I.P Kurt Donald Cobain

Nirvana was the band that brought me into the world of punk-rock. Before Nirvana, nothing stands out in my mind. When this world lost Kurt, they lost a true hero. Kurt was my hero. He understood what it was like to be a teen, he knew how we felt, what we went through, how much of our pain is overlooked in today's society. He knew how we, so different, yet so alike, could come together over the bond of music. He just knew. I'm not religious, but if there is a God, let him watch over Kurt's soul. And may he rest in peace.

"Never mind" is one of the best albums i've heard whith the hard rock songs like "smells like teen spirit" and mellow acoustic songs like "polly", this album is truly amazing.lthough somebody wrote a review saying it wasn't that good a album (im not going to say who but they did have the same name as mine which is "a reivewer" and it was not me) but it's really good.whith kurt cobain on guitar and dave grohl on drums and don't forget kris novoselic on bass i highly recomend it

I like every song.... Like I said, this is just about as close to perfection as it gets.

I love this CD. It is good becuase the lyrics are so intellectually placed together. This was a great band and I am depressed that Kurt comitted suicide (or as some believe was murdered). My favorite song on this CD is "Smells Like Teen Spirit."

Album of the decade? I think not. Not an absolutely terrible record, but by no means a good one. Cobain's weak songwriting combined with his mind-numbing, shoe-gazing seriousness isn't only annoying, it's confounding in respect to the level of accolades he has received since his death. Was Nirvana revolutionary? No, tons of Seattle bands had played THE EXACT SAME style of music before Nirvana came along, all Nirvana did was bring that sound to the mainstream. That started a chain-reaction which created the alt-rock revolution, but come on, it doesn't take much of revolution to overthrow late 80's hair metal and Michael Jackson-styled dance pop. Besides, if Nirvana was so anti-commercial, then why did they play MTV, the ultimate corporate music machine? Oh, I know why, because they really weren't anti-commercial. It was simply an image. Millions of people played into it, and music has never been the same since. American music is dead, it has been for decades.

For any of you rock'n'rollers out there, this is definately the album to buy before starting to pursue your career in music. A musician myself, I found that this album enhanced the way I personally think about the world. Nirvana shines in their second album. This album redefined the word "angst". If you listen to the hard edge guitar power chord in "Smells Like Teen Spirit" or the animus scream of Cobain in the end of "Drain You", can feel the feeling of real rancor begining to flow through your veins. This album is a must for anyone. Musician or not.

The album that finally breaks the camel's back. Starting with the Velvets and Iggy of the late 60's, going through the 70's punk/new wave revolutions in NY, LA and London, to the underground indie rock movement of the 80's, Nevermind brings it all into the 90's with a vengeance. A true sign of its brilliance is that the album was much smarter than the hype that accompanied it. The great ones usually are.

It's been 10 years since Nirvana released this album that changed the world totally. Nevermind is one of the greatest rock albums ever made. Smells Like Teen Spirit is a rock worshipper. It's a good groove and I love to exercise to it. All the other songs are great. Nevermind has a silly album cover. Even though the album is 10 years old, it's still a real rocker!

Nirvana's ''Nevermind'' was just straight up awesome. You do not find much better music than this. Every song was good. This is one of those Cd's that you can listen to the whole way through with out taking it out of the Cd player. There is a reason that this Cd sold 100 million Copies to date. Buy this you won't regret it.

One of the greatest albums in rock history up there with Abby Road. Kurt's lyrics and vocals are unforgettable and his spirit will live on forever. I just hope Justice can be had and his memory left untarnished

Well I was a kid when Nirvana was at the peak of there success and was and will always be a true Nirvana Fan. I love both Kurt Cobain and David Grohl. This Album truly highlights their talent and their true feelings. Kurt was a talented and sexy human being and I will always love him. I hope David Grohl reaches the same success he reached while he played for Nirvana. Nevermind is the best peice of work any human being can ever hope to create.

Nirvana's classic 1991 Nevermind was their best album; following the O.K. Bleach, this excellent album, with the band now as three, not four members. Cobain's raucous vocals and inventive lyrics perfectly complement the heavy, scratching guitar and bass from Cobain and Novoselic. Dave Grohl is a great drummer, and has gone on to another great band; the Foo Fighters. The opener, the famous Smells Like Teen Spirit, is the highlight of the album, particularly the wonderful intro in which the drums suddenly kick in. There is actually some melody; in Come As You Are and Something In The Way. Every track is very good , particularly: Teen Spirit, Lithium and On A Plain. One of the best albums of the '90s and very inspiring.
