Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
Ted Reinstein's New England Notebook is like having Norman Rockwell as your neighbor. Every page, each story and everyone you meet while reading is both a vacation and an education focusing on a region Ted has covered for decades.- Mike Barnicle, award-winning print and broadcast journalist, and social and political commentator We'd love to travel to all these great places in New England, and meet all these fascinating people, too. Unfortunately, between the two of us we don't have a vehicle that could take us more than about nine miles—and that's being optimistic!- Tom and Ray Magliozzi, NPR's "Car Talk" Ted Reinstein has "been there and back" to bring us this warm, affectionate, insightful native's-eye view of New England.- Tim Sample, Maine humorist

Pack up the car and bring along Ted's book! Follow his quirky and quaint stories throughout New England as you learn where to get the best hot dog, how to learn the goings-on at the Vermont state capital and what museums spot the most unusual collection of memorabilia. For the displaced New Englander, longing for home, the fan of Channel 5's Chronicle or just those who love New England, Ted's book has it all. We only wish we could hear more!
