About the Author

Author Ronald Taylor is a retired New Mexico State Police (NMSP) uniform patrol sergeant with over 40 years of service. He has been collecting motor patrol and state police photographs and memorabilia for over 30 years. One of his biggest challenges has been tracking down information on officers from the early years to share their memories and photographs. Taylor is considered to be the unofficial historian for the New Mexico State Police. He has been involved with writing the department history for four NMSP yearbooks.
