Although skeptical at the beginning being an adult reading young adult novels, I totally fell in love with this series. This book pulled me in just as much as the first - I could not put it down. If only good vampires like the Cullens actually existed! ;-)

I have never been much of a reader but I sat down and read this entire Twilight series in less than a week!! I was hooked. You feel a real connection with the characters. You care about them. I would highly recommend this book to anyone out there!!

This is the perfect continuation to the first book in the series "Twilight". Slow to start and heart wrenching to read the book continues with impeccable force. It pulls your emotions every which way and once it gets to exactly where you want it to be - it sure doesnt disappoint.
The first book is still better but the ending to this one is absolutely gut wrenching on the edge of your seat amazing.
I'm not saying the beginning is not good because It is still excellent. It just doesnt start out with the fire it ends with.
As they say- all good things are worth waiting for.

Bella has everything going well for her. Her boyfriend is perfect, she and her dad are actually talking, and she has no one wanting to kill her. Or so she thinks. In New Moon by Stephanie Meyer, Bella has finally been able to settle down with Edward after having some problems in the past. Stephanie still gives the vampire thing a whole new meaning, and she also makes you think differently about your family. Edward has to go through some tough situations with leaving and everything and his family is always there to help him.
Bella and Edward are doing really well together, until Jasper accidentally tries to attack her. Now Edward feels he needs to leave her because he is always putting her in danger. She is completely broken hearted by this all, and not to mention, now Victoria wants to kill her. In the hurt of all this, she meets a new boy, Jacob Black. He becomes her best friend and they are inseparable. He helps her through all her tough times, but then all of a sudden he stops talking to her and everything goes down hill from there. He doesn¿t talk to her for weeks, and when he finally does he is rude. He has turned into something completely different from her Jacob. She goes to do something crazy, and Alice thinks she¿s trying to kill herself. She comes back to Bella to find that she is alive. Now everyone in Edwards¿s family thinks that Bella is dead so Edward wants to kill himself. She goes through a lot to get to him and finally does. They all move back to Forks, and Bella gets her life back. Except for her life with Jacob who now won¿t talk to her at all because Jacob and Edward are enemies.
Your family will always be willing to help you with your problems, just like Carlisle (Edward¿s Father) and Esme (Edward¿s Mother) help Edward with his life. This is a wonderful book and you won¿t be disappointed.

I read the first book in this series and was absolutely amazed. It instantly became one of my favorites. Unfortunately, this second book was disappointing. After everything they've been through, Edward decides to leave, and we're left with a moping and suicidal Bella. I enjoyed reading about Bella and Jacob's friendship, but Bella was always so depressing. If you're okay with that, this book is still very well written and worth it. I half wish she'd just ended it with Twilight, though.

I think new moon was a very fun and exciting book. The authour stephenie meyer writes this series in first person perspective. when you read the book from bella's perspective you get to feel her emotions. I think that this book is the best book of the because it introduces you to charecters that were minor charecters and makes them very important to the series. It lets you create your own opinion about what the books next turn should be, and make you want to read the other two books. This turn in the story is something very unexpected, thats why its such a good story. It's almost the complete opisite of the first and it complicates bella's life and if i would probably say that when you read the books you fall in love with the series and it'll probably become your favorite book series. I would recomend this book to anybody who's looking for some thing fun and exciting to read. it is my favorite book series.

Book Review Outline Book title and author: New Moon, Stephanie Meyer Title of review: New Moon Number of stars (1 to 5): 5 New Moon is definitely a New York Time's Best Seller Novel. This action packed book includes: Suspense, action, violence, and not to mention romance. Almost one year after meeting the love of her 'existence' and vampire, Edward Cullen, Bella is faced with the obstacles that come with true love. To protect Bella, Edward leaves her broken and alone. The only person who can make her feel somewhat whole again is her best friend, Jacob Black, but like Edward he has a secret. Bella learns that one simple mistake that she made may now cost her, her loves existence. Bella must now go out and save Edward, fix Jacob's broken heart, and survive the chase of an old predator, but is love exactly enough? New Moon really shows how creative Stephanie Meyer is when it comes to her writing. I was hooked from the very first page and could not put it down for more than fifteen minutes. This could be an incredible bibliotherapy for young teens or anyone who is trying to overcome a tough break up. This book would be great for teenage girls thirteen and above. Mythical creatures, suspense, blood, sadness, and true love; what more could you ask for in a novel?

This second book in the twilight series has brought even more depth to the series and allows you to see more of the Quileute tribe. At first I was hesitant about Jacob and didn't quite know if I liked him or not. He eventually won me over as he did with Bella in the story. Many of my friends who love the series think the character Jacob in the story is annoying and gets in the way but I think he adds even more to the storyline. He is an example of a possible life Bella could have if she lets Edward go and tries to live a somewhat of a normal life. It makes her see that life doesn't always have to revolve around Edward and that someone else can have meaning in her life. I think that this book is excellent as are all the books in the twilight series and keeps you on the edge of your seat!

I read this book in a day. I just felt sucked in by the damn plot. I was so angry that Edward left Bella...but I still couldn't let the book go. I had to find out more. It's like a drug. I'm already on Eclipse. it's and awesome series. Definitely a must read.

This was probably my least favorite of this series, but it is necessary to read in order to truly delve into the entire fantasy. This is not a series that you're able to skip around in, and, even though this is the book that made me the maddest, I loved it just the same. What can I say, I'm on Team Edward!

I never really thought about reading this series because of all the TEEN hype surrounding the movie Twilight, and the entire series. But after my 63 year old mother told me she was reading it at the insistence of her OLDER sister, I thought maybe..... My mom told me how good the series was, and after Twilight, I was hooked! I bought each book every other day until I was finished! I hated finishing the last one because I knew it was the last. I think the novel is so well written. It evokes emotions from the reader. I felt I was in the story. Even though it sounds SO fictional (vampires and all), I was so there! -The 39 year old

I have read all of the Twilight books so far 'not including Breaking Dawn' and New Moon was by far the best out of all of them. I would recommend reading Twilight first however, since then this book will be easier to understand. But if u love tragic love stories, this book will definitely satisfy you. This book is amazing. and so is Jacob Black.

In the book New Moon by Stephenie Meyer, Jacob Black wanted to hang out with Sam Uley and his gang, but Jacob turned into a ware- wolf, so Bella and Jacob got into a huge fight. I do recommend New Moon, because it is addicting. Once you start reading it, you will not be able to stop reading it. I think that anybody that is interested in Vampires should read this. This book is awesome!!

I loved this series so much!!! I really loved the first book and this provided more character development and a little suspence when it came to Edward. However, the fourth book Breaking Dawn far exceeds the brillance of this one.

The entire Twilight Saga is incredible. I fell into Bella's world so easily it surprised me. The way Meyer was able to capture Bella's pain and agony over the lose of Edward, was hard to stomach. I laugh about it now, but I know that I was moody and sad the entire time I was reading it (which I think was all of two days!). I thought that this book was amazing and I couldn't wait to see what happened next. I rushed out and got Eclipse!

Seriously, I LOVE the Twilight Series but this book just doesn't cut it. Besides the fact that the author makes her look like she needs a guy, it is also very perplexing. Read if you like repetitious and boring books. Personally, I'm just reading to get to Eclipse. I was hoping it would be as great as the first but... eh. I guess not.

What would you do if you fell unconditionally in love with a vampire, but soon or later leaved your heart broken, without giving you a reason for the breakaway? If you're a reader who is looking for drama, fantasy, and action I truly recommend you to read the phenomenal novel "New Moon" By Stephenie Meyer. This great novel helps many young readers to be more motivated and keep up the reading. You will be so amuse by the authors descriptive details that she gives. Stephenie Meyer goes directly to what young kids want and makes it so thrilling. To have a better concept of this novel I highly suggest reading Twilight, the first novel of the whole saga. New Moon is the second book out of four. A brief explanation for New Moon is that it all Starts that Bella Swan is thrown an eighteenth birthday party by Alice Cullen, and Edward Cullen, the vampire that Bella loves; along with the rest of the Cullen's family which all of them are vampires. While Bella was unwrapping a gift she accidentally gets a paper cut on her finger. Since all of them are vampires and their food is blood, Jasper the youngest of all the vampires is obsess with Bella's blood scent and tries to attack Bella. After this incident Edward believes that he is endangering Bella's life. Therefore Edward and his family decided to leave Forks, Washington. Without giving Bella any explanations he decides to break up with her and leave her. After Edwards's departure Bella's falls in great depression for several days including months. Inasmuch Bella finds comfort with Jacob Black. Likewise Jacob Black turns out to be a werewolf. To continue with this amusing novel I recommend any reader of any age to take a marvelous adventure while reading New Moon and the whole Twilight saga.

I actually read the book, then ordered the cd's. Because I really skipped over the Jacob part in my reading. I'm glad I ordered the cds, I understood a little more why there was such a connection. I love the cd's. It makes my trip to and from work so much better. I nice escape from reality.

New Moon is the 2nd book in the Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer. I have to admit, I enjoyed this book more than Twilight. Although, I'm not sure why. The story begins with Bella dreading her 18th birthday. The older she becomes, Edward will still be a '17 year old' boy. This troubles Bella and intensifies her desire to become a vampire. Much to her chagrin, she agrees to having a birthday celebration at Edward's house with his family. During the event, something happens and causes Edward to rethink their relationship. Edward and his family leave Forks, sending Bella spiraling into depression. Her father becomes so worried about her, that he considers scheduling a psych eval for her. Bella slowly starts to re-emerge and attempts to move on without Edward. Which leads her to Jacob. Bella finds herself leaning on Jacob to fill the void of Edward and Jacob's feelings for Bella continues to grow. Over the course of their relationship, we discover Jacob's secret (which isn't hard to figure out if you paid close attention to Jacob's story about the 'cold ones' in Twilight). When Bella discovers the secret, she begins to understand the hatred Jacob has for Edward and the Cullens. I won't say much more so I won't risk revealing too much of the plot. I will say that I enjoyed this book, so much so that I stayed up until 3:00 a.m. to finish it. I liked that Jacob was more prominent in this book. I thought Twilight was a good introduction to his character which led to more character development in New Moon. I'm on the fence about Bella though. I'm just not sure if I like her. She's very manipulative and selfish. It's all about her relationship with Edward and she easily disregards other people in her life. Am I on Team Edward or Team Jacob? Well, the verdict is still out on that one.

The second book of Stephenie Meyer New Moon was a good book it had its ups and down but I did like it. It's a nice book that comes after the first one that is Twilight. At first Bella was so depressed because Edward had left her so she could continue with her life with out any danger after her. She relies on Jake she started to spend some time with Jake. When she in company of Jake she try new and risky things so she could hear Edwards voice. Along the way she discover that Jake is a werewolf and that he can't be to close to her because its danger for her and for the pack. Alice comes back to Forks to find that Bella is safe and that it was all a mistake because she had seen that Bella had jump from a cliff and didn't know if she was alive or dead because she had lost track of her. What they don't know is that Edward is going to Italy so he would destroy himself because he does not want to live with out Bella. Bella and Alice fly to Italy so they could prevent that Edward will kill himself all because there was confusion between what was going on in Forks with Bella. Well I think that you should read it so you could find out what happen at last with Edward and Bella. But it's a great book hope that you read it and continue reading the other books that Stephenie has.
