About the Author
Helen Brenna grew up the seventh of eight children in small-town central Minnesota. Although as a child she never dreamed of writing novels, she must have acquired the necessary skills from her storytelling brothers.
With a degree in accounting, she practiced as a CPA for years before deciding to stay home full-time with her children. The writing bug bit one day during naptime. Right after finishing a book, she thought, "I can do that!" Four manuscripts and many, many years later, she finally sold her first book and has never looked back.
Helen lives in Minnesota with her husband, two children and a menagerie of pets. You can e-mail her at email@example.com, visit her Web site at www.helenbrenna.com, or come and chat with her and several other authors at www.ridingwiththetopdown.blogspot.com.
