About the Author

Robert Reed is an American science fiction author born October 9, 1956. From the late 1980s onward, he has been one of the field's most widely-praised authors of short fiction. His several novels include Down the Bright Way (1991), An Exaltation of Larks (1995), Marrow (2000), and The Well of Stars (2004). His novella "A Billion Eyes" won the Hugo Award in 2007. He lives in Lincoln, Nebraska with his family.

Robert Reed has been nominated for the Hugo Award twice for novellas, and was the first Grand Prize Winner of the Writers of the Future. He's had dozens of short fictions published in the major SF magazines, and more than ten novels published. He lives in Lincoln, Nebraska.

I have never read this book but it has aliens in it so I love it.
