Good book! the story line is interesting and a stand alone book, which is great. However there were only 233 pages not 398 on my nook. I would love to read the other stories but hate to pay for books that are really short stories

I don't like historical romance...this book had these blurbs where the main character was writing a historical romance book in her head...I completely skipped pages to avoid reading it!!

Marian Tee’s books have not disappointed!!!   This one was an emotional ride from start to finish!  Nick and Lilac's journey is not an easy one from both of their gasp worthy pasts to their current “friends with benefits” relationship had me hooked.   So glad that the surrounding friends will or have books out as well….I know I cannot wait until Nick’s friends that go to Reid’s “house parties”  have their own story told.   I loved that you get pulled into the main and supporting characters in this and really all of Marian Tee’s books.   Next up: Jason and Keanne  (Nick’s brother) Violet and Park  (Keanne’s sister)
