"'Twas the night before Halloween, and all through the house, All the creatures were stirring, except for the mouse. The monsters had gathered to plan and prepare,For the trick-or-treaters who soon would be there?."

Little monsters and goofy goblins take center stage in this silly, spooky spin on Clement C. Moore's beloved poem. But what will happen on Halloween when the monsters come face to face with human trick-or-treaters in this fun-filled book by the author of The Night Before Easter?

This is a perfect Halloween story, written to a familiar verse. The illustrations are AWESOME!! This story has been read over and over at our home, all I hear is 'Read it again Mommy!'

This is a fun, upbeat, non-scary Halloween book to the tune of "The Night Before Christmas."Sometimes it felt like they were stretching a bit to conform to the rhythm, but it was pretty good. The illustrations are very colorful and exciting.

My son LOVES this book. I was skeptical that he would like it since it was longer than he usually sits still for. The narrators voice was engaing enough to keep him enthralled from the first time we read it. We have read it many more times and he still loves it. This is a must read!!
