The Night I Flunked My Field Trip (Hank Zipzer Series #5) by Henry Winkler, Lin Oliver, Tim Heitz

Hank is thrilled about the "Best Field Trip of the Year"-everyone from Ms. Adolph's class gets to spend the night on an old-fashioned three-mast sailing ship in New York Harbor!  And Hank gets even more excited when the ship's captain chooses him to be the first mate.  But being first mate is not all it's cracked up to be, especially for a crazy captain who takes his job a little too seriously.  The best field trip of the year is becoming the worst night of Hank's life-how's he going to get out of this one?

I chose this book because it looked very funny and about adventure, I thought it was going to be about a boy that got lost at the beach. After I read half of it I did not like it was not my grade level The words were too easy to me as a six grade but now I liked it because it was about adventure. And it was funny so I did like it at the end. Some of the main characters are Henry, and Mr.Adolf. I liked the book because it was about adventure, and because at the end it had harder words. I recommend this book if you like funny things or if like adventure. I really enjoyed it a lot. I do think the book is appropriate. The book was just about a kid how goes on a trip on a boat then pirates start attacking them. I really liked this book.

hank zipzer go's on a overnight field trip. Hank Zipzer forgets his permission slip to go on the biggest field trip of the year. So he gets his grandpa to bring it to school. He goes on the field trip and was put on rope duty and had to tie the boat to the docks. But he tied them wrong and the boat floated away at night into the bay. He called his grandpa and tells him to call the coast gaurd. The coast gaurd saves him. THis book was funny and has a little adventure in it. I would reccommend this book because it is just a good, easy book to read. I think you will enjoy this book!
