A page-turner in the sense that I kept turning pages to find something interesting. Finally gave up 50 Nook-pages in.

I really don't know why I kept reading this. The storyline was poorly thought out and including ridiculous things like the two brothers agreeing that a strange woman, who admitted to runnng drugs, could move in with them. She slept with the one brother but they didn't have sex?? The dialog was lame and the monster/parasite assignments were almost silly. The "mysterious" conversations that started showing up toward the end, were confusing and a really sorry attempt to create an actual plot or maybe set up a sequel. There was no ending. The story literally just stopped after creating all kinds of loose ends.
