Overview

The Sydney Storm MC are back and war is coming in this enemies to lovers romance.

Nitro’s Torment takes the Storm MC to a new level. Dark, gritty and fast-paced, this book is an adrenaline ride right to the very last page.

Tatum Lee is a pain in my ass.
She’s stubborn, full of attitude, and she doesn’t like to do what she’s told.
And yet, at a time when I should be focusing on the war my club is at, she consumes my mind because she’s also fearless and fierce, and I’ve never met a woman like her.

The thing about war, though, is the minute you let your focus drop, your enemy rises up and attacks. And sometimes they bring you to your knees in ways you never imagined.

The other thing about war? You learn just what you’re capable of doing to protect those you love.

Loved this book. Romance, mystery and love what more could a person ask for. Can't wait to read the next book. Nitro and Tatum were great together.

Great characters, plot, and flow to story. Some predictability but not in the most important part of plot. Have enjoyed reading this series and waiting patiently for next book.

5 Stars From Sammy's Book Obsession! TITLE~ Nitro's Torment (Sydney Storm MC #2) AUTHOR~Nina Levine GENRE~ MC/Bikers-Romance PUBLISHED~ September 20th 2016 PURCHASED~ ARC/Review Copy MY RATING~ 5/5 MY THOUGHTS~ I was provided with an ARC/Review Copy. Firstly, let me say I'm a huge Nina Levine fan! She has never written anything that I didn't love or that didn't impress me. She didn't disappoint here with Nitro's Torment either! Another Nina book to add to my favorites list! For some reason, I found the first part of the book a little difficult to get into, but once it caught me, I was a goner and couldn't put it down! Nitro and Tatum's story was extremely well written as I've come to respect and expect from this author. It was somehow different than all the rest of the Storm books though. I haven't been able to quite put my finger on it yet. I'll add, good-different, definitely not bad-different. Just different. All of the characters in this book were exceptionally well developed and consistent with who they have always been. I loved hearing more about Kick & King! Nitro has several layers that you have no idea exist in the beginning of the book. I'm just going to leave that there so as not to spoil anything ;) As always, I can't wait for the next Storm book, or the next Nina Levine book in general, for that matter! As long as she continues writing the series, there is absolutely no doubt that I'll continue reading every last one! If you love MC/Biker Romance and super hot, Australian alpha males, this series is for you!

Tatum and Nitro meet under unusual circumstances - they are both there to kill the same man. Tatum's plan doesn't go exactly as she hoped but Nitro's does. However, Tatum is a complication that he didn't see coming or need. Tatum was a bit hard to understand and, while I liked that she was tough, I didn't like how she caved around Nitro some of the time. She allowed herself to be manhandled, talked down to and overall abused when she could have just said who she worked for in the beginning. Her plan was not well executed and she seemed to think she was tougher than she was. Her life was hard and she did have quite a few set-backs but she certainly had something to live for. Nitro was a tough one to get to know and understand. He was abrasive, demanding and didn't comprehend (or want to comprehend) how his actions might be taken by her. Parts of the story didn't flow well for me and were a bit muddy at times. Some things could have just been put out there in the beginning and not left as a mystery for so long. It would have helped some of my confusion at times. It took too long to find out what she used to do for a living, what her current job was and how that came about. Nitro's story took almost the whole book to fully come to light. The book did have a plot that kept moving for the Sydney Storm MC, but some of the side characters and stories took away from this book for me. There was just too much going on at times with the side characters and wasn't focused enough on Tatum and Nitro. Also, I don't know how things work in Sydney but here in the USA you don't get to take months off from a job and are suddenly back at that same job, for the same company without any consequences. At times it was like no one worked in this book. The "knife" play also didn't work for me as it was odd to me and kind of stilted in its telling. Wasn't my favorite of Nina Levine's and hope for a better flowing story in the next book in this series.

Nitro's Torment does not disappoint. Holy smokes, from the very start you are thrust into the very dirty, very dangerous world of the Storm MC, and I guarantee you won't want to look away. Not even when things get extremely rough and wildly graphic. Because the beacon of light in this very dark book is the unexpected and gloriously erotic love that is Nitro and Tatum. These two could ignite a fire just by the looks each give one another and their journey is one I never wanted to end. The sergeant at arms and the disbarred lawyer. Nitro and Tatum should not ever met, except that both were seeking revenge on the same evil biker from a rival gang and suddenly and violently their worlds collided. And somehow, each of them saw in the other a slim chance at having a bit of happiness in an otherwise banal existence. Fighting each other tooth and nail every step of the way, it was almost comical at times watching as Nitro and Tatum challenged each other daily. He wanting to protect her from any blowback upon the death of said evil biker, and she just wanting to resume her life without him in her life. But my goodness, the sparks were flying from the start and it was only a matter of time before they found comfort in each other's arms. I loved how broody and matter of fact Nitro appeared for his club and the outside world, yet was a whole other man with his siblings and niece. His soft spot for Tatum, took him by complete surprise. She is as fiesty and fiery as they come and I loved that about her. She gave as good as she got and Nitro couldn't help but be intrigued. Their romance is a slow burn and with things very volatile in both of their worlds, they didn't have any other choice. I loved that they didn't rush to jump into each other's beds. Some trust had to be established and the author did a wonderful job in setting the stage. There is a slew of characters involved in many different scenarios happening all at once but Nina Levine masterfully connects the dots and you just want to keep turning the pages to find out what will happen next. I will admit I was getting very anxious towards the last 20 percent and I almost couldn't bear to read the turbulent conclusion. But it was worth every bit of angst and now I'm wanting the next book in the series. Nitro's Torment is for those of you who love a good biker story and not put off by the violence that is a very necessary part of their existence. This one has it all and then some. I loved every word and look forward to more. A solid 5 stars!

Oxygen Please One thing I love about Nina's writing is that she knows how to write an ALPHA male oh so fabulous!!! Nitro is a man who does what he can for his family be it the brotherhood or his brother, sister and niece. He's stubborn and bossy with a commanding attitude but a heart of gold. Tatum is the perfect woman for him in my book because all the qualities he has she also has in spades. This was a raw gritty tale that's filled with so much suspense that I kept turning the pages even when I knew it was the end of the book. The chemistry between the pair was melt your panties off HOT. I for one am hooked on the Sydney Storm MC and the women who makes them fall to their knees.

You know when you start a book and sometimes you can tell by the end of the first chapter whether you're going to like it or not, well I knew straight off this was going to be an epic read. Nitro's Torment was utterly gripping and compelling. It was far more gritty than the previous Storm books but I loved this. It gave the story a real edge without being cliche in the least. Nitro's Torment was action packed and dramatic but it packed a real emotional punch too. I love how Nina's characters are multi faceted and Nitro and Tatum were no different. Yes, on the surface Nitro is a bossy alpha and Tatum is sassy and in your face but slowly but surely we get to see behind the surface and find much deeper characters with emotional scars and insecurities. Nina does an amazing job of building the chemistry between the two until they combust and sparks fly but even more than that we see a couple grow emotionally together and that for me is the real high point. This story was packed full of MC action. It's hot and sexy, the characters are amazing and the writing is fantastic. Nitro's Torment is an absolute MUST READ; I loved this book from start to finish and couldn't recommend it highly enough. This was easily one of my favourite reads of the year so far. 5 big stars!

I absolutely loved the story of Storm MC' Nitro. Wow what an Alpha male but with a heart of gold. Nitro has dealt with a life of demons but he has always taken care of his family who is totally screwed up. A lot goes down in this book and at first it had my heart in my throat thank god the writer changed that biker’s outcome. Yes you will meet the guys who were in book one of this series so If your an avid reader such as myself you have gotten to know them and hope for the best. Enter Tatum. She is one tough cookie who takes no crap from no one but she does find herself in some messed up situations and that is when Nitro throws himself into her world. The outcome for this couple is hilarious, painful and oh so cringe worthy. You get suspense, action and some oh so sexy hotness. Grab a copy and get reading if you like MC novels then this series will rock your world. I cannot wait for the next book in The Sydney Storm series. I was gifted a copy of this book for my honest review.
