it is written in easy to understand language so needed for a bible. the notes are great. they help you to root your faith even more. I am 40+ of age and enjoyed as much as a teenager would too.

If you're new to the Bible like I am, or even if you've read the Bible you entire life, I recommend you buy this Bible and follow its three reading tracks in order. They'll reveal things in the Bible you never knew before, and will greatly enhance your enjoyment of G-d's word. I started out trying to read a normal Bible with no helps or anything, and I got discouraged really quickly. I bought this Bible 4 days ago, and haven't been able to put it down since.

This version does flow very well for a tablet based study bible. I was looking for something that would be easy to follow and navigate through. Sure, the eBook contains bible context. It is just not set up for eBook useage.

I was very hopeful about this because many of the other eBook NIV Bibles had poor reviews because the were hard to navigate. If that is a big selling point for you, and you are considering buying the eBook version of this text, then you should likely look elsewhere. Navigating this text is very slow and cumbersome at the moment. This could be changed by an update to the book, or an update to the Nook. But until then, this eBook gets a 2 because the NIV pulls it up from a one.

I highly recommend this read, it works well and the editor has great notes in it. With being an e-book flipping around can be difficult at times, but I just remembered/wrote down page numbers and jumped automatically to where I was.

I'm 14 and grew up in a Christain household. When I was around 12, I started hanging out with the wrong crowd and I completely neglected God. After a couple of months I went to youth group and talked to a man at my church about it, because I was starting to have a harder time with everything that I've had before. He gave me a Bible because mine had gotten pretty jacked up. I have it right beside me now. I'm back to being a good girl! Please pray for me though, I'm not exactly completely through it yet.

I have the HBSC Bible, and it is so hard to use, can you pick the book of the Bible, and which chapter? Is it in columns? I would like the Bible on my Nook? to be just like the normal, standard Bible, so that I can take my Nook with me places instead of lugging around my heavy Bible...:)

The Bible is the ultimate book for people to learn about Jesus and God's plan of salvation for us all. This is a great book. Everyone should read it. God made it for everyone. We as Christians need to share the love of God with those who don't know him. The Bible helps have a firm foundation to afgue against atheists and unbelievers and cause them to believe in the ways of Jehovah.

This is God's Word. The holy book. And you were using it for that kind of a coversation? Anyway... I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AS HIGHLY AS IT IS POSSIBLE TO. More people need to read the bible. Some people think its just a book, but it can really change your life. My bible (and God) has helped me through what was likely the worst moment of my life. THANK YOU GOD for your love and wisdom. :)
