For those who said the words of Christ are not in red, I have the solution. Mine was not either and I went to my local B&N store. the gentleman helped me. Open the book and tap the bottom where the page numbers and up arrow for navigating. Click on the text and at the bottom if Publisher Default is not on, click to turn it on. When he did this on my nook, the red words appeared!!

All well and good, but the words of Christ do not show up red on my Nook color Tablet!

I have the new testament. It was not in red either. Bring up you text search bar and turn on publisher view or something like that. Then it was in red, just as advertised. Careful, dont rate somthing so poorly unless you are sure you know exactly what you're talking about. You're savaging their reputation and it's just a setting on the nook. God bless & have a geat day!

It is easy to use once you get used to it, which really isn't hard to do. I love it.

the quality of the paper is not as nice as I expected. However, the bible is cute and unique. It doesn't look boring.

Perfect for use while traveling. Should have, but does not have, the synopsis before each Book as in the regular book. That is an amazing help and reference for those who study the Word.

My only complaint is every time I close my nook is always leaves the place I stopped and goes back to where a link was and brings that up and then I have to go back to the chapter and forward to where I really left off.

This translation is a poor one with bias opinions. Drifts toward a faith only salvation and that children are born with sin among other false teachings. Dont want to offend just get the truth out there. CURTIS

Bought this and it does NOT have red letter version like it says. It does not give you the option to jump to chapters when you open a book of the bible. You have to keep scrolling thru. Bad purchase.

I have just decided to read the bible and was very excited for a red letter version especially in the NIV version, but its still in black. I shouldnt complain about something small when i love the set up but it is irritating!

Earlier I said that "something was missing". The red letters. Not true. With the "publishers default" settingon my tablet the red letters came forth.:)
