NKOTBSBby New Kids on the Block
Separated by a decade on the calendar yet forever linked as reigning kings of boy bands, New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys joined forces in 2011 for a co-headlining tour, releasing the compilation NKOTBSB as support and promotion. It's a pretty straightforward affair: each group is represented by their five biggest hits, the sequencing alternates one NKOTB song with one BSB track, there are two new joint efforts (the wannabe OneRepublic ballad "All in My Head" and the ludicrously titled, not-bad-at-all "Don't Turn Out the Lights (D.T.O.T.L.)"), and a mash-up megamix of both bands. Each group has some big hits missing, but you'd need a Billboard chart book to ferret out which ones are absent: this has everything the average fan could want and is arguably more fun than any individual hits collection by either band.

This is just a FUN album to own if You are a fan of two of the greatest Boy Bands of the 90's. I was lucky enoff to see them both this Summer at Fenway Park in Boston. They put on one Hell of a Show that night(half of it in the rain). That is one Concert I will never forget! So I Dare YOU Go Get Your NKOTBSB Geek On.
My lord, I have to admit even though these songs are the same from the old days, the Mash up and the other two unique songs are worth it! Plus Everybody includes Nick's part in the bridge (very hard to find on Limewire, etc) so yes even though the songs are the same, it's the rewarding feeling of seeing our boys together once again for this EPIC concert is amazing and I can't wait to see my Backstreet Boys in cncert with NKOTB! This is definitely going down in POP HISTORY :) So enjoy this moment because something this amazing will not happen again (unless N*SYNC and TAKE THAT join forces lmao)
I had the good fortune of being able to attend a concert during the summer of 2011 that featured both the New Kids On The Block and the Backstreet Boys. I can recall many of the songs on this cd that were featured at the concert. “Step by Step”, “You Got It (The Right Stuff), “As Long As You Love Me”, and “Quit Playing Games (With My Heart) are some of my personal favorites on this cd. The songs on this cd are actually the radio versions and are best for those who like 80’s/90’s pop music, the New Kids On The Block, and/or the Backstreet Boys.
