No one would ever guess that successful entrepreneur, Dr. Maggie Borgerson, had been on the run for a decade before summoning the courage to take her life back or that she is desperately lonely and wants nothing more than a chance to start over. Her sister, Kate, believes that all Maggie needs is a good man who'd understand the difficult choices she'd been forced to make and the reason for the secret she can never tell. In fact, Kate knows just the man for Maggie...a man with more compassion in his heart than any person she's ever met, but convincing her sister to move home to meet him is one thing; keeping her safe from the man sho'd threatened her life years earlier is quite another.

About the Author

Roberta Fiet Kuhn (writing as Bobbie Jean) was an instructor of Adult Basic Education for almost thirty years where she taught hundreds of students how to write essays, reports and research papers. However, her creative juices really began to flow after she left work. Once in the privacy of her own home, she could use her imagination to fill legal tablets with stories and ideas for novels. Some of her story ideas came from conversations with students, colleagues, sisters and friends. The stories that tugged at ther heart, the stories that she would never forget, were those of women who'd suffered from domestic abuse and violence. Her first novel, NO LONGER AFRAID,is the fictional account of one such survivor and the man who is determined to help her heal. And her readers will be rooting for them with every turn of the page.
