Reviewed by Stefan Vucak for Readers' Favorite If you are intending to quit your current job and look for something else, or are trying to find your first employer, No Mistakes Interviews will be an invaluable guide. Giacomo Giammatteo takes you through every facet of job hunting: from preparation, dress code, researching the prospective employer, handling questions, what you should ask them, to do and don't things. Included are lots of practical examples to consider. Speaking from personal experience, I never paid much attention to initial phone interviews, saving myself for the face-to-face encounter. No Mistakes Interviews highlighted the error of my approach, which may have contributed to my not getting a job. The section on preparation for an interview was particularly enlightening, something I feel many candidates neglect. Even if you skip over some sections, everyone should pay close attention to handling the interview itself. First impressions do count, and it is critical to make one as soon as you confront the receptionist. Giving some serious thought to this section of the book could land you that job. The book emphasizes that every facet of job hunting must be approached professionally or you will be left behind. Having been in the industry for some thirty years, Giacomo Giammatteo's experience and deep knowledge of every aspect surrounding job hunting shine throughout No Mistakes Interviews. Combined with an easy and engaging writing style, presenting information concisely in a very clear way, the author made reading the book not only informative, but a pleasure. I wish I had had something like this when I was looking for a job.
