The authors give plenty of good examples of products to use. My skin is starting to age and I think this information should help delay the process.
This is a great resource for all women showing what products are safest for them-selves and their loved ones when buying cosmetics and personal care products. I gave this as a Christmas gift to all my nieces who love beauty products.
Gives a new prospective to what sinks into your skin! Yikes! Also provides safe products to wear - very helpful!!!
I love this book and thought the writers did an amazing job educating the reader in the dangers of chemicals in beauty products. They explore every product category and offer alternative options as well as DIY self recipes. The one thing I really liked was that they acknowledged that women spend a tremendous amount of time and money finding things that work for them and they realize that giving up certain things might be non-negotiable. They did all of the leg work so you can pick and choose what products you might want to change so you can reduce your exposure to toxic chemicals and preservatives. And it's funny, like laugh out loud funny. Highly recommend.
