About the Author

Steve Jones is the current CEO of Allied Universal and

previous CEO of Universal Services of America. In 2016,

Universal Services of America and AlliedBarton merged to

create Allied Universal, the largest security services company in North

America. Jones began his security career with Universal Protection

Service in 1996 after holding executive level and management

positions within two Fortune 500 companies.

Steve has been named a top job creator by Inc., won the Vistage

International Leadership Award, and earned the prestigious

Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Steve is also a

member of the Young Presidents’ Organization and holds a BA from
