I took the time to write a nice review, not once, but twice. Maybe the third times a charm! It's a short book, and the author is witty and humorous about his experience leading up to the title of the book. Basically, there's a big difference between religion vs. relationship. Also, the author talks about the honor of being a keynote speaker......, how he came to know the Lord, meeting the president, and much more.

Some of author's premisses are quite different then mine. But his clarity and directness were valuable in seeing these differences and pondering some. I did not appreciate his humor even though I am old enough and well read enough to get most. The lead up to the speech was mostly boring. I will check out his biographies.
