From the author's descriptive writing style, I felt connected not just to the moody landscape of the West Kootenays but also to the protagonist, Alexandra Wainwright. I found her story - her dilemma - believable from the beginning and I was drawn along by her journey to the satisfying conclusion.
A thoughtful and soulful story about the many faces of love. Beautifully written, made me laugh and cry and feel part of the journey...an afternoon well spent. I wasn't ready for the story to be over and I hope there will be more soon. Always a pleasure to find gems like this and I'm ready for more by this author. Lovely book.

I was completely intrigued by the cover of the book and the title really piqued my curiosity. The author has a way of making her characters realistic. You feel a very strong connection with Alexandra, everyone she loves and her passion for life. It is truly a heartfelt story and unforgettable.
