Donald Gazzaniga was given a "terminal" heart disease diagnosis in January of 1997. Today, nearly 20 years later, he's still managing his Web site, Megaheart.com, and writing new and well-tested no-salt, low-sodium recipes. Gazzaniga is the author who started the path to recovery from congestive heart failure with his low sodium lifestyle of 500 mg of sodium per day or fewer.
