About the Author

KD Robichaux wanted to be a romance author since the first time she picked up her mom's Sandra Brown books at the ripe old age of twelve. She went to college to become a writer, but then married and had babies. Putting her dream job on hold to raise her family as a stay at home mom, who read entirely too much, she created a blog where she could keep her family and friends up-to-date on all the hottest reads. From there, by word of mouth, her blog took off and she began using her hard-earned degree as a Senior Editor for Hot Tree Editing. When her kids started school, and with the encouragement from her many author friends, she finally sat down and started working on her first series, The Blogger Diaries, her very own real life romance.

Amelia "Emmy" Crain was born with history and archaeology in her blood. It's her passion and her drive. She always seems to be bested by her rival, Dean Savageman. Dean Savageman learned his love of history and archaeology when he was dropped off at an orphanage. Learning as much as he could from the caretaker, Dean turned his love of both into a burgeoning career. The only thing giving him pause has the been the beauty haunting him. This story happens in a rather short time frame. There is quite a lot presented in the way of history and mythology which I found interesting. I found the characters very entertaining and I enjoyed the plot of the story. This is the first I've read by this author and look forward to reading more by her.

This is the first book that I've read by this author, but will not be the last! This is just about one of the sweetest books of insta-love I think I've ever read! He thinks she's a figment of his imagination that he can't stop thinking about. She thinks he's trying to ruin her life. And then they get trapped together, in one of the most awesome cities in the US, The Big Easy! And it's based on one of my favorite tv shows! It doesn't get better than that! Dean is the host of an archeology based reality show, and Emmy is an archeology blogger trying to find her place, but it seems like Dean thwarts her every opportunity. Turns out, Dean is one of the sweetest, funniest guys that exists, and Emmy is super smart, but has a wicked temper! They are Amazing together and I lol'ed more than once while reading. A fabulous, feel good read!

I know this is KD Robichaux's first fictional novel. But I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Emmy is lovably nerdy, but finally stepped out of her comfort zone to try to beat that dastardly Dean (her words for him are even worse). Dean is wonderfully alpha, but yet romantically sweet (I wish my husband was more like Dean, but don't tell him I said that). Loved this book from beginning to end. Didn't want to put it down! Can't wait to see what KD comes up with next!
