Kimberley agreed to accompany Duke Chester Spencer to England and gave up on trying ending her life by committing suicide. Duke Chester felt pity towards the girl and there was something he felt that attracted him to her, she was very unique and special, she wasn't like any other girl having such pride. But when they were in the middle of the sea, the ship was hit by the pirates and Kimberly was revealed by the duke but soon later, she lost her balance and fell down the water, the duke was about to save her but the pirates were faster and they managed to abduct Kimberley instead.
