I just received my copy of Nook Tablet For Dummies (Portable Edition - which, so far as I am aware, is the only edition). It is written by experienced tech author Corey Sandler who has done a number of other Dummies Books including some on earlier versions of the Nook. The book is nicely organized with color photos, and is easily researched. While the NT is in many respects highly intuitive, the book does present a handful of less obvious tactics and tricks some of which are not documented elsewhere. One such is the Nook’s ability to take a screenshot and save it as a .png file. I highly recommend this book to those who like to explore all the ins and outs of the software they are utilizing. One caution - this is not a book for rooters. Sandler recommends purchasing other devices for those not satisfied with the restrictions B&N has place upon its NT environment.

I have had my Nook Color for 2 years, recently upgraded to the TABLET. This book explains many things that I did not know my Nook did. I am still learning each day. The author has a good sense of humor and explained things so that I really did not feel like a DUMMY. For those who wrote negative reviews: Not everyone has been in the world of technology as you probably have. This is a GREAT BOOK !!!
