If the author's mother wasn't Eric Jong this book never would have been published. Writing was extremely poor, storyline was boring beyond words. Someone wrote a review that it was meant for 16 yr olds.......not even a 16 yr old would enjoy this drivel.

I read the synopsis and thought this book would be interesting. But it turned out that this book was so pointless and I felt totally cheated. I can't related to anything in this book.

I really liked this book. I wouldnt reccomend it to anyone under the age of 16(maybe). It kept me intrigued the whole time. I read it in a day and a half. I want to know if she has any other books. I can only imagine what kind of life she lived, nonetheless, a really well written book!

I thought that Miranda was really funny!!!!! The book was really good and I really likes it. Though Miranda was a little screwed up but who isn't?? Well I LOVE NORMAL GIRL!! Also it was funny to tell my mom what kind of book I was reading. She was like what are you reading and I was like 'A book about a nineteen year old cocaine addict' and my mom said 'Don't get any ideas'

I finished this book in two nights. I couldn't stop reading it. But I have to admit that I was dissapointed with the ending because nothing seemed to be resolved. Still, its worth reading.

I could not tear myself away from this book. It keeps you on your toes from beginning to end. It is disturbing, witty, and hilarious all at the same time.

Normal Girl" was a great book. This poor girl is so cought up in herself and her paranoia that it amazes me. I was also astounded by the way her ex boyfriend, Brett, supported her and didn't let her fall through that cracks after all she's put him through. Molly Jong-Fast is an incredible writer. I hope to see more great things to come.

A story about a nineteen year old who has been exposed to a drastically different lifestyle than most normal nineteen years old- but to her, her life is commonplace. This novel is fabulous in that you really understand where she's coming from. There are great images and you find yourself completely engrossed in the novel. I couldn't put it down. Fabulous!

I originally saw this book by it's bright cover. I read it in two days and couldn't put it down.It made me realize that all people are not perfect, realistically. Even the people you least expect.

This book was impossible to put down, I finished it in two days and loved every second of it. Although I couldn't relate to the main character in any way, shape or form I found her life intiguing and strange, even hilarious at times. All in all in was a great book and I would recommend it to all of my girl-friends.

This book was one of the best I have read! At first I thought it would be ok, but then when I kept reading I got more into it and couldn't put the book down. It's very witty and fun. I'm glad it gives views on a not so perfect life, even though Miranda seems to have it all. It's fab! The author is very talented! Keep it up!

i thought that this book would be boring, but i bought it anyways, it was so good that i could never put it down... it's one of those books that are so rare and it shows you a real prespective of someone with a problem in the world, this book is inspiring and vivid

This book explained alot for me about how the drug life is out there. Miranda is a strong character that stands on her own to feet after having all the help from her loyal boyfriend/friend and mother (whos always in denial). After getting clean she still gives 100 percent to her yet junkie friends that would rather die from the addiction then to get any help from her. But still come back for more of it at the end of this book. Encredible courage and will. A must read.
