Great BOOK!! I finished it in a few hours and now I wish I was best friends with Bristol!(haha) I'm surprised to hear that her book isn't due out till the 24th since I was able to buy it in Newark Airport a few days ago but anyway it was a great book. Even if you don't like Sarah Palin, you should still read it because you learn a lot about their lives and come to realize that before the 2008 election, they were completely normal people with normal problems. Although I always liked the Palin family (I always thought that the way they were treated was beyond ridiculous) but now I can't help but feel bad that this once normal family is now one of America's most polarizing families. While everyone has the right to their own beliefs, America's hate for Sarah Palin and her family is disgusting and because of this I hope Sarah decides to run and wins just as a smack in the face to all those who have trashed her and her family.

that liberals would use this spot to bash Bristol and her family. If you don't want to read the book, don't. But dont' bash this young lady for writing it or for anything in it. You're probably not perfect yourself, and at least she is supporting herself and her child and not taking handouts from the govt. to do so.

If you don't like the Palin family or if you're not that fond- why on God's green Earth would you read this? This young woman grabbed life by the horns and accepted and dealt with the cards she was dealt. How dare anyone of us criticize? Her book is real and honest about HER experience from HER point of view; if you're not interested in hearing about, learning and reading about her life and what she has learned along the way- then don't! Plan and simple. I think Bristol did a fabulous job and should be commended for a job well done!

I just finished this amazing book. It was wonderful. It was filled with humor, which made me laugh aloud and it brought tears to my eyes, too. Bristol Palin is an amazing young woman. She speaks candidly about her relationship with Levi Johnston, who was a hard, cruel and ignorant young teen and man. Bristol tried so hard to make their relationship work for her son's sake but it was not meant to be. She tells of her relationship with her parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles and her love for her family is steadfast and amazing. She tells of her eye-opening experiences during the time her mother ran for VP with John McCain and her adventures in and out of Alaska's Governor's mansion. She shares her relationship with Mark Ballas and "Dancing with the Stars"... The book is fabulous. This young woman is a spectacular mother to her son, Tripp, "the love of her life". In addition, Bristol Palin is a steadfast Christian and a loving daughter to her parents, with whom she has a wonderful relationship. If only all Americans could have such a close and loving family and exciting life! Bristol Palin is a very complex and highly intelligent person. I loved the book.

Left or could learn something from this book. She has had quite a journey-you have to give her that. She tells her testimony in this book, along with relationship details that even her mother would be shocked by. I absolutely loved it.

Bristol and Sarah are both so courageous for choosing life. Abortion does not make you un-pregnant, it makes you the mother of a dead baby.

This was a great book that addressed the other side of the stories that the media likes to spin concerning Bristol Palin. She is the first to admit that she made some bad decisions in her life and owns up to them. Was great getting to know the real Bristol Palin. Would recommend for women of all ages, especially older teens and young women.

Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far By: Bristol Palin, Featuring Nancy French Bristol Palin thought she was just an average teenager until two major events led up to her life changing forever, her mom became the Republican vice presidential candidate in 2008, but the most major change that Bristol had to face was becoming a teenage mother. Inside the pages of this book Bristol takes the readers deep into her life and truly explains the details of her life as if she was writing in a diary. Whether she is talking about her struggles as a teenage mother, or struggles with the father of her baby or her favorite actives and friends, this book will never fail to boar you. This book gives the readers a really good description of who Bristol Palin really is and what she really values in life. Major messages and themes throughout this memoir of Bristol Palin are teen pregnancy and fame. When Bristol Palin found out that she was going to be a teenage mother she knew that everyone in almost all Americas population was going to find out since her mother was already very famous for running for vice president in 2008. Even though she was scared of the outcome she didn’t give up on life or on the baby’s life and decided that she was going to keep the baby no matter what any ones opinions on her would change to, since most people do not look at teen pregnancy on a great level. This made me gain a whole new respect for Bristol Palin. Receiving hateful comments from all over she stayed strong and truly did what she thought was right. What I really enjoyed in this book was that I got to truly understand what Bristol and her family have been through. She took the readers deep into her life story and explained it out really well to truly understand everything that she has been through. I liked to finally see who she truly is from her own perspective and from all her loved ones (family and friends) perspectives other than just viewing her form political perspectives and what TV has made her out to be, because not only did she become famous from her mom running for vice president Bristol also made an appearance on Dancing with the Stars. What I didn’t enjoy in this book was how something’s were dragged on and others were just not as important to include in the book which made for a boring read. I really enjoyed learning about her life once Bristol was a little older around the time when she was having troubles with Levi (the father of her baby) and around the time when her mom was starting to become famous just because it made for a more entertaining read. Some parts I felt like weren’t necessary to include like her younger childhood events, just because they weren’t as entertaining to read about, however, I still give this book 2 thumbs up.

This is one of the best books I have read lately. This story touched my heart, she is so transparent as she tells her story. She is surely a inspiration. Any young adult that is going to be a parent needs to read this!

Great book. Bristol and her journey (so far) is so inspiring. I too grew up fast, getting married at 19 and being independent at a young age. People have also told me that I have an "old soul", just like her. She was so brave to put up with all of the negativity that surrounded her family. I also watch her show, and she's an inspiration. Levi is a piece of **** that doesn't deserve her or Tripp (who is absolutely adorable by the way). A definite 5 star, will read again!

I found her honesty refreshing. Her openness under these trying times makes her a rare breed in deed.
