About the Author

I started out as a screenwriter - and still am - but after i started Fictional Boyfriends on Facebook, a story started growing in my mind.. one to be told in a book.

I am lucky to have an adoring husband & two extremely talented and bright teens & a scrumptious 9 pound dog. They are all so super supportive of all my writing and I couldn't do it without them.

I live about an hour from New York City.

Team Jack!!! Where do I even begin?!? I don't want to give anything away so I'm going to keep this relatively short. I loved the first book because I could completely relate to how Elizabeth felt in her marriage. If you haven't read the first book (Ditching the Dream) - stop what you are doing and go read it! Then, definitely get this one and read it! I will admit, I was almost as torn as Elizabeth at the end of the first book but I totally get why she made the choice she made. This book is Jack's story and Isabelle Peterson did an excellent job sharing Jack's history, his side of things with Elizabeth and then picking up from there to finish out his story. I couldn't put this book down because I just HAD to know what happened! I love the way it ended! Great book!

I will start off by saying that while I did like the first book, I was unhappy with the ending and felt unfulfilled. This book however, was the PREFECT fix I needed! Thank you Izzy, for this amazing book. In Ditching the Dream, Jack annoyed me slightly before he grew on me. I decided "yes, this is who Elizabeth needs to be with." With the total shock of the ending, I could not wait for this book to finally get what we all wanted, not only more of Jack Stevens, but for Elizabeth to finally realize that Jack is the one for her. I absolutely loved reading about Jack's journey and how he became THE Jack Stevens. I think my favorite part(s) of this book (other than the ending of course) was that Izzy showed us a lot of scenes from Ditching the Dream, but from the opposite point of view. I love seeing scenes from both sides and really getting what both people were feeling and-or thinking. Thank you again Izzy, this is an absolute must read :)

If you are Team Jack, this book will not disappoint! I loved him in Ditching the Dream and I love him even more now! In this book we get some of Jack's background and you really get to know Jack and why he was the way he was in DTD. All the questions I had at the end of DTD are answered and I loved the story line. I don't want to give anything away, but this is a MUST READ! I highly recommend reading Ditching the Dream first so you can get all of Jack and Elizabeth's story. Amazing Isabelle Peterson, I can't wait to read more from you!

Wasn't a fan of Jack before, but now I LOVE him. Absolutely fell in love with the 1st book. So of course had to read this one even though Jack wasn't my favorite or my choice for Beth. After reading this book about his story all I can say is WOW. Jack truly came from nothing to get to the man he is now. It's an interesting journey to see how he got into the domination side of life. It's definitely an interesting read. Couldn't put it down!!! Great book. Isabelle Peterson has become one of my favorite authors! I will recommend her books to anyone.
