Overview

Nothing Can Keep Us Together (Gossip Girl Series #8) by Cecily von Ziegesar

Welcome to New York City's Upper East Side, where my friends and I get everything — and everyone — we want. Snagging the latest Marc Jacobs bag or your best friend's boyfriend isn't pretty, but it's always hot...It's almost graduation and our lives are really heating up. Everybody's into college and it's obviously time to party — as if we hadn't been doing that already! Will Blair and Nate's love affair continue? More importantly, will Blair finally get into Yale? Or will Nate and Serena hook up in New Haven and leave Blair alone in the city? And as for the juiciest scoop of all, what's this we hear about Jenny leaving Constance Billard to go to boarding school? Only time will tell how everyone will end up, but one thing's for sure: love is in the air, and it smells a lot like Gucci Envy.

As always Gossip Girl proves to be the reigning queen in chick-lit and scandal filled novels,Nothing Can Keep Us Together continues on with Blair coming to terms, however slow that might be with her hasty break-up with Nate when she discovered Nate and Serena locking lips in the tub on Senior's Cut day in the last book,I loved that Blair is grounded by her friendship with Vanessa and you do see both of them changing,You would never have thought these two would end up together, not in relations speaking but as close friends. This novels has been such a pleasure to read and i really recommend it for girls who love a light, funny and totally trend worthy novel.Combine hot fashion, trendy make-up,lust-worthy guys, beautiful girls, friendship, scandal, private school and rich Manhatteners and you've got yourself an awesome read!

B gets a new boyfriend (a true British prince) to replace N. N pines over B while he "dates" S. J is still trying to find the perfect party boarding school. D finds out he's still head over heels in love with V, but V doesn't know if she wants him or A. All the seniors are graduating this year and stirring up the latest gossip like is B's new boyfriend a real prince and is he already engaged to someone else and is N and S really dating or just messing around? Great book series and TV show!
