Have you ever gotten on a ride, only to realize you want off, but it is too late? You spend the first moments building up the courage, preparing only to fall. What if I told you that those first few moments were really preparing you to not only manage the fall, but to soar instead? There are far too many times in our lives that are much like this ride. We have to get on it and not just enjoy it, but learn how to keep flying.

About the Author

Deidre Mirand is an educator devoted to providing lessons in life and literature to today's youth. She has taught English Language Arts and writing for over 17 years. Encouraging young authors, she published a compilation of short stories titled, "Dream World" written by various students. Though Deidre has been a teacher and worked with children for over half of her life, she began questioning her purpose. On a road to self-discovery, she was diagnosed with MIT Family Translocation Renal Cell Carcinoma, a rare form of kidney cancer. This propelled her into finding her purpose in providing hope, help, and healing to those who doubt their God-given purpose on this earth. Her love for writing and mentoring encouraged her to launch her business as a Writing Coach, as she hopes to encourage future authors to get their stories out. Deidre is a Georgia girl with a Caribbean heart, a loving mother of one beautiful soul, a devoted daughter, a sister, and a mentor to many. She is a faithful follower of Christ and a true believer in the divinity of life. She is an educator and founder of Divine Destiny Consulting where she coaches future authors as well as editing projects.
