Now a Major Motion Picture by Stacey Wiedower

From USA Today bestselling author Stacey Wiedower comes a story about the downside of fame and the upside of love...

Eight years after her fiancé’s betrayal rips her world apart, Amelia Wright is at the pinnacle of career success. Using heartbreak as her muse, she’s authored Shattered, a best-selling dystopian series that’s headed for the big screen. Though she writes under a pen name, she’s secretly scared Noah Bradley, her ex-fiancé, will recognize himself in her work, and, worse yet, realize she's never moved on.

But in a world of Instagram and iPhones, Amelia quickly learns it isn’t easy to hide in plain sight—especially after a paparazzo steals a shot of Amelia in a steamy encounter with the star of her upcoming movie. At the height of the tabloid frenzy, Amelia uncovers a secret about Noah’s betrayal and finds herself faced with a choice. Will she move forward with her new life of Louboutins, limos, and bullying paparazzi, or succumb to the pull of a past she thought she’d finally written off?

About the Author

Stacey had barely blown out the candles on her 21st birthday cake when she took her first job as a reporter at a daily newspaper. She later followed her passion to interior design school and spent three years working at a firm with bizarre similarities to the set of Designing Women. Today she funnels that experience into her work as a full-time freelance writer, penning everything from magazine articles to website copy to a bi-weekly column called Inside Design. She also writes romantic comedy, and the zany characters she's met poke their heads into her stories from time to time. Stacey lives in Memphis, Tenn., with her husband, also a writer, and a son who's inherited their overactive imaginations.

Amelia and Noah were graduating college and they were getting married.  Days before the wedding Amelia walks in on Noah with another  girl.  After a spectacular breakup, Amelia becomes a writer and Noah continues on to become an architect.  Amelia's book is being made  into a movie.  She starts dating the costar of the film.  Her world becomes public with photographers, interviews and talk shows.  Noah is  a rising star designing boutique hotels.  Neither has moved on even though they try to date others. Stacey Wiedower has written an intriguing romance with two characters that you want to see happy.  Each matures and begins to realize  mistakes in their past.  The story pulls you in and keeps you reading to find out what is going to happen next.  An engaging story from  start to finish.

Reviewed by Janelle Fila for Readers' Favorite Now a Major Motion Picture by Stacey Wiedower is a contemporary romance that has the past colliding with the present. Amelia is trying to recover from the loss of love after her fiancé's betrayal eight years ago. She writes about her experiences, hoping that telling the story in the form of a fiction novel will help with her healing from the pain. Meanwhile, Amelia's ex-fiancé Noah is also trying to move his life forward and forget about the way things turned out with Amelia, one mistake he regrets more than anything. When Amelia's novel jumps onto the best seller list and is optioned for a movie, the pair realizes that neither of them can hide from the other much longer. But will they get a second chance at love? Or has too much happened in their lives to bring them back together and heal them from the mistakes of the past? This is a cute, fun and quirky read that romance lovers will enjoy. The story is told from both main characters' perspectives, is written very well and helps the reader understand each character's individual motivation. The characters are really the strength of this story. Noah and Amelia's bond is intense and readers will hope for them to get back together. Readers will cringe at their mistakes and root for them to make smart decisions because the writing style is so good that we are invested in the decisions that the characters make and we want them to get their happily ever after.

I couldn't put this book down. I finished it in 24 hours. Really good book. The only thing I wished is that she didn't wrap up the so quickly at the end. I wanted another chapter with them together.

I really enjoyed reading Now a Major Motion Picture. Once I started, I couldn’t put this one down.  Amelia Wright uses an epic heartbreak as inspiration for a successful series soon to come to the big screen. As Amelia is catapulted into a different lifestyle, she tries to bring closure on a past love but finds it more difficult then she would have thought. The characters were endearing and the story kept me engaged.  I would recommend this to anyone who wants a fast-paced delightful read.

Stacey has written a book that will captivate your attention and keep it til the end. an exceptional book about fears, doubts and final realization of what life is and should be and taking the chance at it. This is a book you have to read and come to your conclusion as to whether you find it as great as I did.I will not be more specific, because I don't want to tell you about the characters or storyline and ruin it for you.
