Baptist preacher/nudist llsley Boone claimed descent from the American pioneer explorer Daniel Boone. Ilsley was at the forefront of nudist promulgation and organizing in the early twentieth century. In 1945 he was indicted for transporting the nudist magazine Sunshine & Health on "common freight carriers". Other Baptist ministers disavowed Boone's legitimacy as a bonafide Baptist clergyman.
