As a single parent and aspiring business woman, Cynthia Meeks struggled to balance entrepreneurial pursuits with my obligation to keep food on the table for me and her two precious sons as well as a comfortable roof over our heads. Though her eldest, Julius, witnessed the lights getting cut off and sometimes not having enough food on the table (Sy was too young to know the difference), both sons have always seen their mom work her way through difficult situations, none more difficult than the situation in 2017 that found her three months behind in her rent, that included ten days of lighting a candle, and a spiritual journey through eviction and homelessness that landed her safely into her very own home. A spiritual journey that included her son's list, unemployed angels, God, and supernatural miracles.
