Overview

Oblivion by Jay Bonansinga

One snowy midnight in Chicago a drunken ex-priest is accosted on the street by a well-dressed stranger, who turns out to be his former altar boy. The young man — now a successful lawyer —wants Father Delaney to perform a very special ancient ritual — the spiritual cleansing of a mystery mansion; an exorcism.

Hands down, Oblivion is one of the scariest haunted house novels you will ever read -- and just wait until you find out where this haunted house is located! Evil reigns in this house!

From the author of The Black Mariah, The Killer's Game, and many other great novels.

I got this book on a whim. The book turned out pretty well and eventually a page-turner. It is writen in first person so you are there in his shoes when the ghosts start acting up. 4 *'s.

Very creative writing! If you are looking for a good-scare-you-down-to-your-socks haunted house story, this one is great but don't sleep alone.....

First time reading of this author. This was such a great story. If you like stories about spirits, haunts and exorcism, this is your book. The author draws you into the story 244 pages long and packed with pretty of twists and turns and some fun surprises. Love the way the author develops the story step by step. Like the way the priest is drawn into agreeing to cleansing the "place" and how he gets introduced to the place ( first of a few surprises). Fast paced novel. Didn't want it to end. Looking forward to more by this author. Strongly recommend.

Wasn't super thrilled about this book. I got it because I totally love the walking dead. But I thought it was a little slow. I'll probably give jay another chance though. Zack O.

Enjoyed the read immensely. Fast paced. Had you hanging on every word. Read the story while working out on an elliptical. I found myself working much faster in trying to keep pace with the story. Highly recommended.
