About the Author

Andrea, a Brigham Young University graduate, is an avid reader and outdoor enthusiast (hiking, fishing, boating, biking, spending time in the Rocky Mountains, and taking walks). She spent a year and a half serving the Spanish speaking community in Toronto, Canada, and is fluent in 2 ½ languages. She plays several instruments, not including the banjo, and loves putting together musical arrangements. Her favorite sports are basketball and football, though several knee surgeries and incurably awful coordination prevent her from playing them. Andrea is always in the mood for a good movie with close friends and family (especially her husband and mom), with a large glass of milk and a bowl of overly buttered popcorn nearby. She also enjoys oil painting, making earrings, squeezing every bit of oxygen out of Ziploc bags, and she hopes to someday travel to Italy and Alaska. Andrea has published three books.

A lot is placed on Nicole’s shoulders in this book. She can’t be near Austin without getting physically sick. She has to pretend to hate Aretes and take over leadership of the Tarians. She also has to pretend to follow her great grandmother, Rebecca, all the while knowing that Rebecca was being deceitful. Ms Pearson has lots more surprising adventures for Nicole in this book. I think young adults would love this series and even though I’m not a young adult anymore, (only young at heart ;;-)) I enjoyed reading this. Highly recommended.

One book, so many emotions. This book has it all, love and romance, frustration, fear, anger and on and on. This may have been my favorite book in the series so far!

As I continue reading this series I enjoy it just as much as I did from the first book! Adventure, humor, romance, angst and magic!

Hang on to your seats.. Oh, I cried, laughed, cheered, and got very angry! This series keeps you on your toes, emotionally. Every time you think you've got something figured out...BAM!, it totally goes sideways. I'm rooting for Nicole and the gang. Stay tuned!
