Obsessed by M. William Phelps

"Anything by Phelps is always an eye-opening experience." —Suspense Magazine

Sheila Davalloo was young, attractive, and successful. When she started a new job at a cutting-edge research lab in Stamford, Connecticut, she met the man of her dreams. Nelson Sessler had no idea how violently Sheila would react when he began seeing a co-worker, Anna Lisa Raymundo. Sheila eliminated her rival in a bloody knife attack—and then turned her rage on another victim she saw as an obstacle to her passions. M. Williams Phelps recounts the riveting story of a white-collar love triangle gone horribly wrong. . .and the terrifying infatuation that drove one woman to kill.

I like true crime and this one met my expectations. I read a lot of books by this author. Hard to believe what measures this woman went to get a man she was obsessed with.

Phelps does an amazing job of telling this stranger than fiction story. I have yet to be disappointed by one of his books. Although the description says there are photos included they are none. Excellent book. I'll look on the Internet for photos of the people involved.

This book is, as all of the books I have read by Phelps, a well told account of a person who has an evil core and commits serious crimes. It reflects his talent for doing comprehensive research and writing about it in an engaging way.

One of the best books I have read in a long time. Great detail and an unbelievable true story.

Superb and thoroughly engaging as usual. Mr. Phelps research, writing style and attention to detail is second to none. With the sad passing of the late QUEEN Ann Rule, Mr. Phelps has taken over as the King of True Crime. He proves once again that TRUTH is stranger than fiction and often more harrowing and evil.

Since the passing of the great Ann Rule, Phelps has moved into the top spot of the best true crime writers alive. This isn't his best but it's good. A fascinating, disturbing tale of obsession, jealousy, and rage. Worth the read.
