When a blow by a cleaver ends stockbroker Bernie Tollson's life and many ambitions, Vancouver detective Andrew Wachter takes the case. The Triads, the Communist Party of China, and the Canadian government all begin eyeing each other with distrust, and Andrew feels the pressure to solve the case. His quest will set him on a collision course with the enigmatic Eugenie. Is the woman the key? Andrew isn't sure he can trust the answer to save him in the battle about to begin.
