Off The Beaten Track by Lucy Felthouse Libby is a hard worker who never takes off for anything. She has no time for a personal life it is all work and no play. Her friends and family decide it’s time for her take a little vacation. Well on this much needed vacation she finally relaxes and decides to go on an excursion and what an exciting excursion it is. We have one hot driver and one woman begging to be touched. You know what that means. Why couldn’t I go on a trip like this when I was single? Man oh man I love to read books, what a fantasy life these characters have. I am jealous of Lucy’s imagination. She is amazing. “I received this book as a review copy in return for an honest review”

Good things come in small packages, isn’t that what they say? This is a short story, 19 pages in all, but it packs a punch. Workaholic Libby is forced on vacation by her family and friends when her long work hours and busy schedule resulted in the death of her last relationship without her even noticing. They booked it, arranged the time off, and all but forced her on the plane. Not one to sit idly by the pool, Libby arranged to take an all-day Jeep tour of the island. Unfortunately, she may have been left behind since no-one else seems to be around. Luckily for her, she’s the only tourist on this trip. And her tour guide has a close, hands-on tour ready when she asks. All I can say is keep a glass of ice water handy and don’t read this one outside in the sun or you might spontaneously combust. Demetrio is a luscious native with a to die for smile, dimples and all, and Libby is just realizing that all work and no play isn’t such a good idea, especially when there is such a handsome toy around. I give this story 3.5 clouds out of 5 as it had very little character or plot development, but a rousing 7.5 out of 10 chili peppers.
