In an attempt to bring peace to this troubled region, the High Commissioner brings in the 114th. Queen's Own Royal Strathspeys - a decision that will stretch the British forces' patriotism to the limit. Captain James Ogilvie is then seconded into the Political Department and sent on a dangerous mission to infiltrate the hostile region of Peshawar. He must seek out the Pathan leader who calls himself the Star of Islam, but there are a multitude of obstacles that look certain to block his way.
