This book is about a baby bear that realizes he is old enough to do things on his own, such a dress himself, eat breakfast by himself, give himself a bath without any help from his parents. Although Baby Bear is growing up and can do things on his own, he knows that he is never too old to get goodnight kisses. This book shows that as Baby Bear grows up, he is not depending on his parents to do everything for him.
