I have spent my entire life believing and trying to follow the precepts taught by Jesus. I have failed and fallen miserably short a lot of times and in a lot of ways. But I have never lost faith nor doubted for a minute that His precepts are true and binding. Having now lived eighty-eight years by the grace of God, I have felt compelled to try to encourage others along this pilgrim way by sharing some of my failures (and a few triumphs). I am indebted to the Holy Spirit for guidance as I have prayed for wisdom from above. If there is merit in the book, the credit belongs to that answered prayer. I hope the thoughts herein expressed will be uplifting and encouraging. My Irish heritage explains some of the tongue-in-cheek writing. But if God didn't give us our sense of humor, where did we get it?
