This was a quick, very emotional read. Although it does look to put Cantor Fitzgerald in a positive light, I believe it's correct to do so after reading this book.

Howard Lutnick faced loss, hearbreak, devastation, and choices that, hopefully, none of us will ever have to endure. I admire him for his courage, feel for his personal losses, and congratulate him on keeping his company (and, in turn, the families of those that were lost) together.

A really good read.

This was a touching tribute to those who were lost. It was wonderful to read Howard's side as at the time all we were getting was the negative side of the story. I think Howard is a wonderful person and I'm glad that he has done and is doing all he can for these families. I really recommend this book.

An overwhelming account of such incomprehensible loss that brings the reader to the brink of tears at each turn of page. It is a remarkable book of sheer emotion told with solemnity and grace that brings home to us all on the fragility of life and the upheavel that can be inflicted upon us as we pass through this world. A just and outstanding tribute to those who died at Cantor Fitzgerald on that most unbelievable of days and the phenomenal human adversity and strength found in one man beset with a tragedy and its aftermath that defies belief. Howard Lutnik is an extraordinairy man and the world should know it.

I purchased the book on Friday 2/14 and have had a hard time putting it down! The first time I heard of Howard Lutnick or Cantor Fitzgerald was a few days after 9/11 when he was on television with Connie Chung. After that anything I heard I stopped and listened or read. The negative was terrible though. I didn't beleive it for a second. This book has helped me to understand SO much more about 9/11. And also a person so dedicated to his employees, friends and family. He has gone through SO much tragedy in his life. But this book is a wonderful tribute to his company and the live of those lost and survivors who helped put it all back together.

I found this story captivating and fascinating. I couldn't put the book down. A must read on not only the events of 9/11 but on the effects of business during that time.
