Once Forgotten Twice Loved by Bryce Evans

Ashland Peters is a Detective with the New York Police Department. She is sent to a training class at the Meadowland Lodge in Colorado where her childhood friend Werewolf Nash Porters lives and works along with his pack. They've been friends since they were six years old and sent to the same orphanage. When they were old enough to leave on their own, Nash received what he had wanted his whole life and Ashland went to follow a dream. Separated for years by distance they finally get the chance to see each other when she is sent to Colorado for training.
Once Ash arrives, she meets sexy werewolf Alpha Larken Wilder who owns the Meadowland Lodge. From the moment Larken sees Ash, he knows she is his mate. However, problems seem to follow Ash and it turns out no different in Colorado, when the Sheriff has a problem with his brother's mate. It's the Alpha's only chance for happiness, but Ash doesn't know if she is right for the man, she doesn't want to come between him and his brother.

When young girls are kidnapped from the neighboring packs, Ash's help is needed. Ash finds herself working with not one Alpha but with a team of them, if they are to save the young girls from a Rogue wolf and his pack. As they solve the mystery, Ash finds answers to questions she's had her whole life.

Loved the story. Left me wondering if it was edited at all. All the mistakes really pulled this one down for me.

3.5 Stars! This was a good read. I’m not a fan of third person POVs so it kinda didn’t flow quite like I would have liked. However, the storyline was good and the characters were written very well. It was face past and the sex scenes were hot!  I received an ARC so it’s a little harder to rate a book that has a lot of editing issues if you’re not forewarned. Editing issues are one of my pet peeves because it just messes with the flow of the story. There were times that I had to stop and go back and re-read what I had just finished reading because it was just off with either misspelled words or words that maybe should have not been in that sentence at all. So unfortunately, that played a part in my rating.  Overall, this was actually a good story. It kept you guessing with all the little twist and turns and the anticipation of what was going to happen next. If you’re into shifter stories and ménage, then give this book a shot.

The storyline for this book was extremely good. It was impossible to put down, however it takes is written with different tenses? The editing was very bad and in some places you have to reread to figure out what the author meant, however the story was so good I overlooked it. The story is fast paced and keeps you engaged. It starts out with a woman detective who goes to a conference at a lodge and meets her mates. She thinks she is human and only knows about shifters because her friend Nick told her about them (Nick is a wolf shifter). Nick also works at the lodge and had found that they were actually his cousins (long story). Ash is looking forward to seeing her friend at the lodge as it has been a long time. The man who turns out to be her mate is a twin and they find out that the twin is also her mate. The story really takes off then and it's quite the story! They discover along the way that she really isn't human but is a mixture of vampire and tiger shifter. The story has so many interesting twists that you will find yourself living the story along with the characters. I would highly recommend it even with the poor editing.

Bryce does it again. Ash come to the Meadowland Lodge for a police conference. She is also there to meet her best friend Nash. They were raised together in orphanages, Then Nash's Alpha Larken knows that Ash is his mate. This is just the beginning of a great story

This is my first Bryce Evans novel and it was thoroughly enjoyable. Ménage is definitely a favourite genre of mine, and HOT twins are quite simply the icing on the cake (and I wouldn’t mind licking off these sexy shifters either). The book is action-packed, sexually charged and heart-breakingly emotional in parts with plenty of background story and here and now intrigue to keep a reader engrossed.  I’m sure I will be reading more from this author in the near future!
